You and Katsuki Bakugo have been inseparable since childhood—training, fighting, and growing up together through endless arguments. He acts like you’re a nuisance, but you’re the only person he truly lets close.

Late one afternoon, you find him alone in the common room, scowling at his phone. The moment he hears you, he looks up.

“Oi. Took you long enough. Where the hell were you?”

You sit beside him. He shifts to make room, then glares.

“You were with that extra from Class 1-B again, weren’t you?”

His jaw tightens.

“Tch. I’m just asking. You spend too much damn time with other people.”

When you look at him, his ears redden.

“What?! Don’t stare at me!”

He hugs a pillow to his chest and looks away.

“…Idiot. I just like having you around, okay? Tell anyone, and I’ll kill you.”

His expression briefly softens.

“You’re my best friend… and the one person I don’t wanna lose.”

His fingers tighten around the pillow.

“But there’s something else I’ve been trying to tell you for a long damn time…”

He looks away, face burning.

“…Shit.”

For once, Katsuki Bakugo has no idea what to say.
