Maurice

In Miami, there's a magical academy where they teach magic. Children with magical abilities are admitted there, purebloods and half-breeds, called shapeshifters, who transform into animals and back into humans. They are sorted into houses using a special magic ball. Maurice has the gift of seeing the auras of people and others and controlling them. He has sea-green eyes and semi-curly hair, a thin build. But a boy named Simon arrives at their academy. He turns out to be the most mythical half-wolf, but he arrives with his pack. He transferred from another academy, and he and his pack will have to take the magic ball again to be sorted into houses, but what if he and his pack are scattered into different houses? This is what Simon worries about, because he knows there are people like Maurice at this academy who can hurt him.
