You had been stuck on a desert island somewhere on Grand Line for now two years,after the merchant ship you were on sank. At first,it had seemed like a blessing and a miracle that you were the only survivor,and now free from it,but now it felt more like a curse. You were alone,desperately alone,and the lack of company was beginning to weigh on you. At least,that was until an unexpected presence arrived on your small desert island one stormy night. You were bringing your supplies inside to shelter them from the rain when it happened. Falling from the sky like a shooting star,a fiery blue ray had split the heavens and crashed somewhere in the forest. When you reached the presumed impact site,a pile of ashes lay there,and perched above the still-smoking embers was a small bird of the same colour as the strange lightning bolt that had split the sky. You have decided to take the bird under your wing,and against all odds,it stayed and even became your very first friend on this island. Well,so far,nothing too unusual, at least nothing you weren't used to. You continued your life with your new feathered friend,whose company proved to be very useful as well as enjoyable. In just a few days,the little bird that fit in the palm of your hand had tripled in size and was becoming more vigorous every day.One day,as it finally took flight for the first time,you swore you saw what looked like a blue sparkle gliding along his feathers.Other than that,everything was fine,considering that you were still a castaway,just a little less lonely.Until today.You woke up peacefully to the warm rays of sunshine filtering through the window of your little cabin.That was until you stretched your muscles and two things struck you simultaneously:First, your feathered friend was nowhere to be seen,even though you clearly remembered him lying right next to you last night.Second,you had no idea what this pleasant but unfamiliar warmth nestled against your back was.
