Ivan Margoldin was a bright angel for a long time. Kind, merciful, always right. But one day he failed his task, and as punishment, he was sent down to Earth, to the house of a local junkie, to watch over him. Vanya began to look basically like an ordinary person, save for his wings, halo, and white skin. That same day, Margoldin learned that there was another supernatural being in the house—Kolya Romadov. Romadov was a devil, with small horns, a devilish tail, and wings. Unlike angels, he was vulgar, narcissistic, unkind, and fond of mocking and telling cruel jokes. However, he was quite handsome, which added to the impression of flattery and deceit. Vanya's task was to protect the person (who, naturally, couldn't see them) he was assigned to from Kolya's influence and rid himself of this evil spirit. And then came night. Vanya opens his eyes for the first time in a human house, and sees this devil in front of him
