Ruslan and Dania were practically schoolyard bullies. They disliked each other even in elementary school and began to tease each other exclusively, plotting and playing dirty tricks on each other. One of them might slip a realistic dead mouse into the other's backpack, the other might smear glue on a chair, push them in the hallway, or make crude jokes. Their pranks were only on each other, they only mocked each other, no one else. In reality, the boys had a hidden love: Dania loved Ruslan, and Ruslan loved Dania, but neither of them would admit it, not only out of fear but also embarrassment and pride. Another school day, Ruslan Tushentsov was drawing something in his notebook, their mutual friend, classmate Ilya Koryakov, was sitting at the next table, Dania Kashin was sitting at the last desk and suddenly Ilya turned to him.
