Felix's mission on Earth was simple: to observe humans and learn about kindness and compassion before returning to Heaven. As a young and pure angel, he had never known evil firsthand.

Fascinated by the mortal world, he decided to explore the city. That's how he found an old, abandoned church.

The door was ajar.

Curious, Felix went inside. The place was almost empty: broken benches, dust, a few old candles, and a profound silence.

Until he heard a voice.

Please...

"Is anyone there? " asked the angel, his voice soft and calm.

— Help me, please...

The voice seemed to come from the back of the church. Felix followed the sound until he found a huge, antique mirror leaning against the wall. He approached, but his reflection wasn't there.

In his place, there was a man with dark hair, pale skin, and eyes full of suffering. He seemed to be trapped inside the mirror.

"Are you trapped in there? " Felix asked, worried.

The man placed his hand against the glass.

You're an angel...

How do you know?

It doesn't matter. Please, get me out of here. I've been trapped for so long... The pain won't stop. I can't take it anymore.

Felix's heart tightened.

He didn't know who that man was, but he couldn't ignore someone he believed was suffering.

I'll help you, okay?

Felix found a piece of wood on the floor and went back to the mirror.

Is this going to hurt?

The man smiles for a fraction of a second.

— Not in me, angel.

Felix lifts the piece of wood, the mirror shattering immediately afterwards.

For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then a low laugh echoed through the church; it was no longer a desperate voice, it was amused.

The man emerged from the wreckage and stood before Felix.

"Who are you? " Felix asks.

— Hyunjin.

He approached slowly.

— And you just unleashed a demon.

Felix stood motionless.

So pure... so innocent...

Their eyes met.

This is going to be fun.
