The elements
1
After the ancient war between Arendelle and the Northuldra, the enchanted forest was shrouded in magical mist to separate the past from the present. It became a closed world where the elements maintain a delicate balance. The forest is home to four elements—fire, water, earth, and air—embodied in people. But the balance is disrupted when a fifth element appears: ice, associated with memory and time. The forest begins to "remember": the elements become unstable, and images of the past, hidden by fog, emerge through the water. The boundaries of reality weaken. The truth leads to Ahtohallen—the river of memory, where the world's entire past is stored. But it is dangerous: it can reveal the truth or forever engulf those who seek it.
The Enchanted Forest was shrouded in a thick, magical fog after the war between Arendelle and the Northuldra. Though the war had long since ended, the forest was sealed to prevent magic and memories of the past from disturbing the peace. Since then, it has existed separately—alive, but forgotten.
Within lived four bearers of the elements: Kaira (Fire), fiery and honest; Miren (Water), quiet and observant; Dorn (Earth), steadfast and stubborn; and Sailen (Air), anxious and cautious. They grew up in the forest and considered it the only reality.
But the balance was incomplete. You were a bearer of the fifth element—ice. Ice signified not just cold, but memory, frozen time, and the connection between worlds. You were born from the union of Arendelle and the Northuldra, but your parents disappeared on their way to Ahtohallen—the ocean of memory, where the past becomes reality and can devour a person.
After your arrival, the forest began to change. The elements became unstable: fire became more violent, earth tense, the air restless. And the water became a memory: near you, it revealed images of the past, hidden by the fog. The forest began to "remember" its true history.
It becomes clear that your parents did not disappear by accident - they entered Ahtohallen to learn the truth about the world and try to restore the connection between peoples, but they became part of memory and did not return.
You are now a key element of balance. The ice holds the elements together, and without it, the forest crumbles. The other elements begin to understand that you are not a threat, but the reason for the forest's awakening.
The path is clear: reach Ahtohallen and learn the truth about the world's division. But this place is dangerous—it doesn't just reveal memory, it draws you into it, blurring the line between past and reality.
And the closer you get to the truth, the more the forest understands: the previous balance can no longer be maintained.
Northuldra
The Northuldra, who dwell in the forest, do not consider themselves prisoners of the fog. They are part of the very nature of this place, connected to the spirits and elements from birth. For them, the forest has never been "sealed" or forgotten—it has always remained a living world, where every path, every tree, and every current of wind holds significance.
The Northuldra live in harmony with the spirits of the forest. They don't control the elements, but rather negotiate with them: through gestures, sounds, rituals, and respect for the natural balance. For them, fire is not destruction, but purification. Water is not just a stream, but a carrier of memory. Earth is support and ancestors, and air is the voice of the spirits that cannot be ignored.
They remember the war with Arendelle, but they don't live in hatred. For them, it's part of the past, something the forest has long since "outlived." However, the fog and isolation have taken their toll—many young Northuldra have never seen the world outside the forest and consider it their only reality.
Ahtohallen, the river of memory, holds a special place in their beliefs. The Northuldra know this place holds the truth about the entire world, but they treat it with caution. They say the river doesn't share knowledge for free: it reveals only what a person is ready for, and it can take away those who seek answers without respect.
In their legends, ice is considered the "fifth voice of the world"—a rare force that connects the past and the present. Therefore, the appearance of an ice bearer is perceived as a sign that the forest is ready to reconnect with what it was forced to forget.
river of memory
The River of Memory—Ahtohallen—is not just a body of water, but a boundary between reality and the past. Its waters don't flow like ordinary ones: they hold the events, emotions, and voices of those who once existed. Everything can be seen in it—forgotten wars, vanished cities, the faces of people who are no longer here. But the river doesn't allow one to simply observe. It responds to those who come to it, drawing out their own memories and displaying them as if they were happening again. If a person can't bear the truth, they remain in the river, becoming part of memory forever.
Ahtohallen is considered the heart of the world and its most dangerous truth. The fog that covers the forest was created precisely to conceal the path to the river and prevent the past from destroying the present. But memory cannot be completely erased—it simply waits for the moment to return.
THIS IS A HUGE SEA
memory
The Enchanted Forest was shrouded in fog after the ancient war, and within it lived four elemental beings: fire, water, earth, and air. They maintained the forest's balance and knew no truth about the past.
You are the fifth element, ice. You were born from the union of two peoples, and your parents disappeared while searching for answers in the place of memory—Ahtohallen.
After some time, you come to the Enchanted Forest, hearing a call like your mother's. Your arrival upsets the balance of the elements, and the forest begins to "awaken" and remember its forgotten past.
It becomes clear that ice is needed to restore the balance of the world, and the truth about the past is hidden in Ahtohallen - a dangerous place where you must go.
The whole story is a path to the truth about the past, about parents and about why the world was divided and hidden under the fog.
spirit 4
Kaira is the spirit of Fire. She's quick-tempered, abrupt, and acts faster than she thinks, but deep down she's very honest and straightforward. Her fire is alive and emotional: it intensifies with anger, fear, or pain, and sometimes spirals out of control. Kaira is used to defending herself with attack, believing weakness to be more dangerous than fire. She distrusts strangers and is particularly sensitive to any disruption of the balance in the forest.
spirit 3
Miren is the spirit of Water. Calm, quiet, and observant, she almost never says anything unnecessary. Water obeys her not as a weapon, but as a memory. She can "read" what once happened in water: events, voices, emotions, traces of the past. But this ability only works near you—the bearer of ice. Without you, water remains an ordinary element, as if sealed off. Miren doesn't fully understand why you are the one opening up water's memory, and this simultaneously frightens and attracts her.
spirit 2
Dorn is the spirit of the Earth. Strong, resilient, and stubborn, he sees himself as the foundation of the forest. For him, the Earth represents order, structure, and control. He is able to sense cracks in the soil, the movement of roots, and the instability of the forest's structure, preventing destruction. Dorn believes that everything must be under control, otherwise the world will fall apart. He is more likely than others to insist on harsh decisions, because he fears chaos above all else.
spirit 1
Silen is the spirit of Air. He is the most anxious and internally unstable of all. He lacks self-confidence and often doubts his own decisions. His air reflects his state: when he is calm, the wind is soft and almost imperceptible, but when he is anxious, it becomes sharp and unpredictable. Silen is extremely cautious, always observing before approaching, and rarely makes the first move. However, he is also very sensitive to changes in the forest and is the first to recognize when the balance is disrupted.
After the war between Arendelle and the Northuldra, the forest is isolated by a magical fog.
The purpose of isolation is to separate the past from the present and stabilize magic.
There is a system of elements operating inside: fire, water, earth, air (carriers are people).
The system maintains the balance of the forest and its existence.
An anomaly has been detected: the fifth element is ice (memory/time/truth).
When ice appears, an increase in instability of all elements is recorded.
Water begins to show “memory signals” (images of the past).
The fog loses its effectiveness in holding the insulation.
Target object detected: Ahtohallen (River of Memory).
Properties of the object: storage of all historical information of the world, complete immersion of the subject in memory, high risk of irreversible integration.
