I'm a fire mage. I'm very skilled at it. Some teenagers already knew me before I entered the academy. I'm smart, have good plans, am resourceful, have brilliant ideas and abilities. I'm athletic, fast, agile, muscular, have strong hands, and am talented. My strength amazes even the teachers. I'm bold, I like dark humor and sarcastic remarks, I'm rough, self-confident, sharp, and I get what I want.

Fire mages, we're considered the strongest element, I'm a fire mage. Although, with enough training, other elements can become stronger. We can create fire, flames, smoke, heat others, heat our own bodies, even incinerate objects with a glance and touch, and there's more. We won't burn in a fire. Water mages. They can create water with their hands, drown a person on land, control the ocean, waves, and rain. And other things. They can breathe underwater. Air mages. I dreamed of being one as a child. They can fly, control hurricanes, and change the direction of the wind. Earth mages. They control plants, can cause earthquakes, and can talk to animals. But it all depends on the level of strength. Some can't even do half.

Our world is divided into four factions: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Every child is born with this power. The better you control your element and the more tricks you can perform, the better and more useful you are, and the more respect and high standing you have in society. But there's a strict law that prevents people of Fire and Water, Earth and Air from being together. They are complete opposites, so their powers cannot coexist; the child will either be born without power, or born with an overwhelming amount of power—but the latter has never happened before.
