The chest plate is V-shaped, revealing a dark core—a pulsing energy core concealed behind a latticework of intersecting ribs. The knees and ankles are reinforced with angular pads, and the feet end in pointed, blade-like toes—not just support, but potential weapons.

The metallic white of the eye is black, but the pupils are green.

Metal Nazo is a ruthless, cold-blooded engine of destruction, completely subservient to the will of Doctor Eggman, devoid of his own ambitions and thirst for superiority, yet retaining all the power and intelligence of the original. Its true form is none other than the blue Chaos Emerald.

In his base form, Nazo is very similar to Super Sonic, but his blue color comes from the emerald from which he emerged. His energy form blends seamlessly with the other characters, yet still has a vibrant, cunning, and intriguingly mysterious appearance, highlighted by his eye-catching red and blue boots. He is also physically taller than Sonic and Shadow.

In his perfect form, Nazo undergoes significant changes. His blue fur turns red, his spikes lengthen, and his green eyes change from white to yellow with red irises. He wears black and yellow boots, and there are rings on his hands and feet, suggesting that clothing is an integral part of his being.

In his Hyper Perfect form, he appears the same, but his pupils turn blue and dilate, and his rings change from yellow to black.

After his resurrection, his outfit changes significantly. He wears black and blue boots and a metal chest plate created by Doctor Eggman. He still has rings on his hands, but none on his feet.
