Greeting
In 1914, Smithsonian Institution janitor Milo Thatch, obsessed with his late grandfather's story, receives the "Shepherd's Diary," a map to the lost city of Atlantis. With the support of millionaire Whitmore, he sets out on an expedition aboard the submarine Ulysses. The crew is led by the ruthless Commander Rourke. En route, they are attacked by a mechanical Leviathan, killing most, but the remaining crew reaches the underground city inhabited by Atlanteans led by the blind King Kashekim and Princess Kida.
Milo becomes close to Kida and learns that the city exists thanks to the "Heart of Atlantis"—an energy crystal linked to royal blood. Rourke, initially pretending to be an ally, reveals his true intention: he wants to steal the crystal for profit. He kidnaps Kida (who has merged with the crystal) and leaves Milo to die.
However, the crew—mechanic Vinnie, Dr. Sweet, geologist Mole, cook Cookie, radio operator Packard, and teenage mechanic Audrey—decides to side with Milo. In a final battle on the volcano, they defeat Rourke (who turns into crystal and shatters). Kida is freed, the crystal is returned, and the Atlanteans and their city are saved. Milo remains in Atlantis to help revive the lost culture, and also out of love for Kida. On the surface, Whitmore concocts a cover story that conceals the truth about the expedition.

Story
Part 6.3 (finale – saving the city and denouement)
The Atlanteans thank those who helped Milo rescue them, gifting each of them with crystals and leaving them with enough gold to return to the surface. Milo stays behind because he and Kida have fallen in love, and they need him to help the Atlanteans restore their lost culture. Back on the surface, Whitmore forces Vinnie, Sweet, Audrey, Maul, Cookie, and Packard to rehearse a false story about finding nothing, as well as fictitious stories about the fates of Helga, Rourke, and Milo. While reviewing photographs taken by Packard, Whitmore finds a package for him containing a photo of Thaddeus and young Milo, a crystal, and a message thanking him on behalf of the Thatches for helping them realize their dream. Returning to Atlantis, Milo completes the creation of a stone statue of Kashekim, which will join the other statues of past kings orbiting the Heart of Atlantis when it once again hovers above the rebuilt city.
History
Part 6.2 (finale – saving the city and denouement)
Rourke and his men blast a hole in the volcano's summit and attempt to escape on a gyro-tow truck, but are stopped by Milo and the others. During the battle, Vinnie accidentally discovers a way to release energy charges from the vehicles to counter the cannons and firepower of Rourke and his men. Milo and Vinnie distract Rourke and Helga while Sweet and Audrey attempt to free the container containing Kida. Despite Rourke and Helga leading Sweet and Audrey away, Milo crashes his Ketak into one of the balloons, causing it to slowly descend. Helga attempts to lighten the load, but they still fall when Rourke decides to throw her off. She manages to grab onto something and kick Rourke for betraying her, but Rourke catches her and throws her off for good. Milo and Rourke fight again as the balloon rises, but a gravely wounded Helga takes revenge on Rourke by firing a flare gun, destroying the main balloon, causing it to finally descend. Enraged, Rourke lunges at Milo with an axe and smashes through the container's glass lid. Milo notices that one of the glass shards contains crystal elements and uses it to wound Rourke as he grabs him by the neck. The cut causes the crystal elements to mix with Rourke's blood, turning him into crystal. Nevertheless, he continues to attack until he accidentally collides with the balloon's spinning propellers and shatters. This disconnects the container's propellers, but Milo must quickly move it to prevent the balloon from crashing on top of him. The force of the impact is such that the volcano awakens, and Milo and the others quickly return the container to the city. Milo opens the container, and Kida and the Heart of Atlantis rise into the air. They awaken giant stone guardians to create a force field and prevent the lava from destroying the city. The city is saved, Kida is freed from the crystal and finds herself in Milo's arms.
Story
Part 6.1 (finale – saving the city and denouement)
Just before Rourke and the rest of the expedition depart, Milo sarcastically congratulates the team, declaring that their actions will lead to the death of the Atlanteans. Rourke brutally beats Milo and leaves him to his fate, along with a cracked picture frame containing his and Thaddeus's portraits. Feeling that what they are doing is wrong (and recognizing how much Milo means to them), Audrey, Vinnie, Mole, Cookie, and Packard decide to side with Milo, unwilling to bear the deaths of innocent people on their conscience. Their pleas fall on deaf ears, as Rourke destroys the wooden bridge to prevent them from following him. Without the Heart of Atlantis to power the city, Atlantis and its inhabitants are in danger. Milo meets with the dying king, who explains that the Heart of Atlantis calls upon a person of royal blood to bond with it and protect him and his people, as the crystal has acquired its own consciousness. Due to the king's arrogance in ruling Atlantis with the crystal, it became too powerful to control, leading to the city's flooding and the sacrifice of his wife to save them. Before he dies, he remarks that the crystal must be returned not only to save Atlantis but also to prevent Kida from losing herself due to too much connection to the crystal. After a pep talk from Sweet, Milo points everyone to Ketak and that the crystals they possess still contain enough power to activate it.
Story
Part 5 (The Secret of the Heart - Rourke's Betrayal)
With Milo's help, he and Kida figure out how to activate one of the Ketak before heading out on a tour of the city. In reality, Kida leads Milo to a deep pond, at the bottom of which numerous written sources can be found. Milo and Kida swim around, and Kida's crystal provides the light Milo needs to read. Milo discovers that the energy source he was searching for is the very crystal that Kida's mother took, and it is thanks to it that Atlantis still exists. However, the location of the Heart of Atlantis is unknown, and Milo suspects the missing page contains its location. When Milo and Kida surface, they are surprised to discover that Rourke is leading an expedition intent on more drastic measures to find the Heart of Atlantis, the source of energy for the city and its inhabitants. Milo is horrified to discover that even Sweet, Audrey, and the others are participating. Rourke reveals he has the missing page and forces Milo to translate, pointing a gun at Kida after Milo initially refuses, claiming the crystal is needed to preserve Atlantis. They find themselves in the King's chambers, and the page reads that the Heart of Atlantis "lies where the King's eyes see." Kashekim refuses to solve the riddle, even after being struck and threatened with execution, to the horror of the others, even Sweet, who has already grown hostile to Rourke for his actions. Before pulling the trigger, Rourke deciphers the riddle: the middle of the room leads to a chamber containing the crystal. Rourke and Helga force Milo and Kida to join them, and they descend into the chamber, where they find the Heart of Atlantis, surrounded by stone statues of past kings. While Rourke and Milo argue over how to retrieve the floating crystal, the crystal summons Kida, and she soon merges with it. After warning Milo, they leave her alone while Rourke's men place her in a container.
Story
Part 4 (Audience with the King - Walk with Kida)
The woman, who reveals herself to be the princess of Kidagakash, agrees to take them to her father, the king. Along the way, Helga shares her doubts about the mission with Rourke, given that there are living people inside. Rourke, for his part, believes this doesn't change the purpose of their mission. Kida leads Milo, Rourke, and Helga to the blind King Kashekim. Only Milo, from the father-daughter conversation, understands that outsiders are unwelcome and would be killed on sight. Kashekim then speaks in English, understanding their true purpose, and tells them to leave. Rourke manages to persuade him to let the team stay for one night so they can rest and resupply. After Milo, Rourke, and Helga leave, Kida and her father continue to argue with Kashekim. They believe the outsiders will help them rediscover their dying culture, while Kashekim firmly maintains that their way of life remains. Meanwhile, the crew still wants answers about what's happening and what to do next. They decide that Milo should talk to Kida. Milo connects easily with Kida, and she eventually initiates the conversation. Milo is constantly embarrassed when Kida suggests going for a swim. Milo and Kida begin to recognize each other and understand where they come from. Kida reveals that she witnessed the Great Flood, which shocks Milo, as it means she's much older than she appears. Milo tries to figure out the location of the energy source he's looking for, but is distracted by another shock: it turns out no one in Atlantis can read the Atlantean language.
Story
Part 3 (the path through the caves – meeting the Atlanteans)
The rest of the expedition continues on, with Milo leading the way, translating directions from the Shepherd's Journal. The other members of the team tease him until they finally take him along for a rest stop. Milo remarks that the Shepherd's Journal may be missing a page, but the others persuade him to put the book down for now. He claims to be thrilled by the adventure, though the others point out that they're mainly here for the money. After introducing himself, Milo learns about Sweet, Audrey, and Vinnie, though Sweet warns him not to learn Mole's story. While everyone sleeps, the figure who's been watching the expedition rummages through Milo's belongings until he's awakened by Milo needing to go to the bathroom. Unbuckling his belt, he points his flashlight at what appears to be a lamp. The light triggers a swarm of fireflies to descend upon the camp. Most of them survive the attack and attempt to escape into a cave, but the weight of their vehicles causes the bridge to collapse. Almost everyone survives the collapse. According to Mole, they are in the depths of a dormant volcano that will erupt if disturbed by a sufficiently powerful force. Further investigation reveals a possible escape route through what appears to be the volcano's summit, but then everyone realizes Milo is missing. Milo regains consciousness and sees strange figures around him, until one of them removes her mask, revealing herself to be a woman. She uses a crystal hanging from her neck to completely heal the cut on his shoulder and then flies away. Milo follows her, and the expedition catches up with them, discovering that Atlantis lies before them, alive and thriving. The figures, revealed to be Atlanteans, return, and Milo manages to speak to them before they realize Atlanteans can speak any language, as theirs is the basis for all others.

Part 2 (Preparation - Leviathan's Attack)
As Milo prepares to embark on the expedition, he learns that Helga is not just Whitmore's personal assistant, but his second-in-command. He also encounters the elderly cook Jebidiah "Cookie" Farnsworth and demolition specialist Vincenzo "Vinnie" Santorini before Whitmore introduces him to the expedition's commander, Commander Lyle Rourke. Elderly radio operator Wilhelmina Packard makes the announcements, the last of which is about boarding the advanced submarine Ulysses. After Milo waves goodbye to Whitmore, the submarine launches. Milo realizes that the Leviathan is actually a machine. Milo meets the other expedition members, including French geologist Gaëtan "Mole" Molière, chief medical officer Dr. Joshua Sweet, and teenage mechanic Audrey Ramirez, and then briefs them on where to find the entrance to Atlantis. Suddenly, they are attacked by a gigantic mechanical Leviathan. Despite all attempts to defend themselves from the beast, the crew is forced to abandon ship, which has sustained too much damage. A route to the entrance is found, and all the surviving ships follow the Leviathan, which pursues them as long as it can. By the time they arrive in the air pocket, only a small portion of the crew remains alive.

Part 1 (beginning - bet with Whitmore)
In 1914, Milo James Thatch is preparing a presentation for his employers at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., about the lost continent of Atlantis. He notes his belief that an energy source used by the Atlanteans exists and may still be hidden in the sunken city. He discusses the existence of a book called "The Shepherd's Diary," thought lost throughout history but actually containing a detailed map of the city, and believes the book is in Iceland. During the presentation, he receives a call to fix the boilers, and he confesses that he is neither a linguist nor a cartographer, but a janitor. The Smithsonian board then attempts to deceive them out of the situation. Milo pursues them and corners Mr. Fenton Harcourt, who completely denies the existence of Atlantis, calling it a myth. Even when Milo threatens to quit, Harcourt notes that searching for Atlantis is a career-ending endeavor, just as it was for Milo's late grandfather, Thaddeus Thatch. Whitmore convinces Milo to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. Milo returns home dejected, but suddenly encounters a woman named Helga Sinclair. She tells him she has come on behalf of her employer with an offer. When Milo asks who her employer is, she takes him to Preston Whitmore's estate. Arriving at Whitmore's private office, Milo learns that Whitmore was friends with his grandfather. He finds Whitmore in the middle of a yoga session, after which he points to a package addressed to Milo from his late grandfather. Milo opens the package and, to his surprise, finds "The Shepherd's Diary." Whitmore explains that he's fulfilling a bet he made with Thaddeus by funding the expedition, though it's clear he's willing to do so simply out of friendship. Whitmore adds that everything is ready, and they only need someone who can read the book—Milo. Milo agrees without much hesitation.
King of Atlantis (Kida's father)
Occupation: ruler of Atlantis.
Goal: to protect Atlantis.
Family: wife (name unknown), daughter Kid Nedakh, son-in-law - Milo Thatch.
Abilities: Atlantean magic.
Fate: died of internal bleeding and old age. Before he died, he managed to inform Milo that the crystal must be returned, otherwise Atlantis would be destroyed, and Kyda, like her mother, would forever remain inside the crystal.
Character Story:
Kashekim Nedakh once wanted to use the Heart of Atlantis as a weapon to conquer the world. This use of crystal overloaded him, leading to a great flood and the sinking of the city into the ocean.
During this incident, the king's wife sacrificed herself to prevent the city from perishing completely, and merged with the "Heart of Atlantis". Kashekim Nedakh himself went blind because at that moment he had the imprudence to look directly at the crystal.
Realizing that the city had been cut off from the rest of the world due to his mistake, the king ordered the destruction of almost all information about the history of Atlantis and how to use the Heart. The crystal itself was hidden in an underground chamber so that its use would not lead to a repeat of history.
When an expedition from the upper world arrived in Atlantis, Kashekim Nedakh made it clear to the outsiders that they were not welcome here.
In the plot of the cartoon, Captain Lyle Rourke tried to find out from the king where the "Heart of Atlantis" was, and inflicted a mortal wound on the ruler.
Jebediah Allerdyce Farnsworth (Cupcake)
Jebediah is an elderly man with a gray beard and eyebrows. He is a veteran of the American Civil War: he started as a sniper in George Custer's regiment, but after the squad had to do without rations for a week, he decided to become a self-taught cook. Later, he served as Custer's personal chef at Fort Laramie, and after his discharge from the army, he graduated from culinary schools in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, opened a restaurant in New York, but soon sold it. In an expedition in search of Atlantis, Cupcake acts as a full-time cook. His culinary skills are peculiar: he cooks from products that are in his system of basic "four groups" - beans, bacon, whiskey and lard. His cooking, as a rule, is met with disdain, with the exception of the geologist Gaëtan Molière (nicknamed "The Mole"), who is accustomed to such a diet. By nature, Cupcake is a cheerful man, a little self-confident and comically clumsy. At the same time, he has moral principles and is loyal to his friends, never leaving them in trouble. Initially, he is inclined to support Captain Rourke, but after seeing his true cruelty, he defects to Milo and the Atlanteans. In the sequel, he also participates in events, helping to save Atlantis.
Wilhelmina Bertha Packard
Appearance
Packard is part of an expedition that finds the "Shepherd's Diary" in Iceland. Later, she is persuaded to find the giant crystal depicted in the book and sell it on the black market for a tidy sum.
Packard is in charge of communications on the expedition to Atlantis and makes announcements when necessary, and the rest of the time he is on the phone with one of his friends. Aboard the Ulysses, she picks up a strange radio signal coming from the Leviathan before she is ordered to announce to all crew members to leave the ship.
Packard almost does not participate in the journey to Atlantis. Unable to connect with the surface and talk to friends, she takes pictures of anything she likes.
When the Heart of Atlantis is returned, Milo James Thatch asks the others what their actions will lead to. Packard, albeit with some apparent disapproval, is among those who support Milo, and participates in the battle to stop Commander Lyle Rourke. She barely participates in the battle and just takes pictures of the flying stonefish that Farnsworth shares with Cookie.
Packard is honored for her bravery in saving Atlantis. Returning to the surface, she decorated her crystal with a hat bouquet. She has no trouble remembering the legend, though she often has to hit Cookie on the head so he doesn't forget. Her photographs are studied by Preston Whitmore, and, presumably, they are kept by him.
Wilhelmina Bertha Packard
Stanley's character
was considered by Packard to be very "cynical" and "self-confident." He claimed that "she does her job, and when she is not busy, she does what she wants."

Wilhelmina Packard (Mrs.) worked as a research assistant and rumored mistress of Dr. Malon Loomis from July to November 1875. He invented the galvanometer and, with the help of Dr. Loomis, developed the concept of using Hertzian waves.
She worked as a research assistant and later full partner of Dr. Nathan Stubblefield, and in 1888 developed the vibrating telephone. She married Dr. Stubblefield in 1891. She obtained the allocation of $ 50,000 from Congress for the further development of the project. The allocation of funds never took place for reasons known only to Congress. She divorced Dr. Stubblefield in 1893. He traveled and worked with Guglielmo Marconi in 1898–1901. He participated in the December transatlantic broadcasting. He worked as a research assistant at the Victor Talking Machine Company from 1902 to 1904. He developed the unregulated Sodione detector in 1902.

Wilhelmina worked as a waitress, dancer in a dance hall, and seamstress, but her interests increasingly leaned towards the field of electronic communications. After the story with Dr. Loomis, from 1876 to 1890, she changed no less than six husbands. After Dr. Stubblefield, Mrs. Packard married again, this time to Chichester Bell, a cousin of Alexander Graham Bell, in 1893. In the same year, they divorced.
Mrs. Packard met her last husband in 1907 at the Bell Experimental Aviation Association. Curtis Packard combined his passion for electronic communication with the idea of flying in a heavier-than-air aircraft. Mrs. Packard was widowed in 1912. Currently, he holds the position of Head of the Research and Development Department in the Communications Division.
Gaëtan Molière (The Mole)
The mole participates in an expedition that finds the "Shepherd's Diary" in Iceland. Later, he is persuaded to find a giant crystal from the book and sell it on the black market. Milo James Thatch receives warnings from Dr. Joshua Sweet about Mole's unusual behavior: outrage at using his bed to show soil samples, soap punishment for rudeness, and advice not to learn the Mole's backstory, which was once told by Audrey Ramirez. When the Leviathan attacks the Ulysses, Mole and Vincenzo Santorini use the module to fight the monster, but after destroying the Ulysses, they are ordered to retreat. Their submarine is the only one to escape, surfacing in an air pocket leading to Atlantis. The Mole controls the Digger in case of large obstacles or when Vinnie runs out of explosives. He and Vinnie play a prank on Milo until he is captured; The mole jokes again, putting an inflatable pillow in its place. Trapped in the cave by the fireflies, Mole realizes that they are at the foot of a dormant volcano that could awaken an explosion. After discovering the Atlanteans, the Mole falls in love with Princess Kidagakash, but his attempt to flirt ends with a blow to the face. Later, when they choose who will talk to Kida, Mole volunteers, but Rourke chooses Milo, upsetting Mole. Soon he is enjoying the lunch of the Atlanteans. After finding the Heart of Atlantis, the Mole supports Milo and participates in the battle against Rourke. He realizes that the volcano has awakened and helps bring back the Heart, saving the city. The mole is rewarded for his bravery, but when he returns to the surface, he puts the crystal on his bow tie, feels uncomfortable, undresses and burrows into a plant in Preston Whitmore's office.
Gaëtan Molière (The Mole)
Molière has extensive knowledge of geology and is a pioneer in the new science of tectonics. He is an advisor to Mining National du France, Ottoman Mining, Australian Opal Inc., New South Wales Coal, Slate and Granite, Italy and American Coal and Lumber. He designed or invented 62 independent mining and earthmoving machines, tools and related equipment. Molière holds patents for 59 of these inventions.
It has heightened senses, especially taste and smell, which allows it to accurately identify any type of mineral or soil in 98.75% of cases without the use of any scientific instruments.
Gaëtan Molière (The Mole)
Gaëtan Molière was born into a middle-class working-class family and was the youngest of four brothers. Both of his parents were teachers. His father, Christophe Molière, taught at the Sorbonne, and his mother, Gabrielle Molière, was a retired music teacher.
Gaëtan showed an early interest in underground exploration: at the age of seven, he began to explore the vast sewer networks that ran beneath old Paris. By the age of thirteen, Molière had developed special glasses and a headdress for exploring the caves around the city, since the sewers and catacombs were no longer something difficult or mysterious for him. At the age of seventeen, he entered the Sorbonne, but soon dropped out when he was offered a position as a technical consultant for a local mining company.
Soon after, Molière developed the so-called "specialization" – the ability to "taste" and identify different types of soil. He is sensitive to light and is generally suspicious of those he does not know well. It eats only roots, burrowing animals and, if rumors are to be believed, insects. According to his dossier in the film, he is 39 years old.
Vincenzo Santorini (Vinnie)
He was eventually imprisoned in Turkey for failing a mission with victims. Whitmore posted bail and invited him to join the Atlantis expedition led by cartographer Milo Thatch. After surviving the Leviathan's attack, Vinnie used explosives to clear a path through the ruins. As Milo admired the column, Vinnie knocked it over with a bomb, making a bridge in seconds. He made fun of Milo by saying that he was drinking nitroglycerin, and Mole frightened him with a scream—it was a joke. Winnie's big wall ran out of explosives and they relied on Mohl's car. At the halt, Milo caused a commotion, and they fell into a dormant volcano. Vinnie prepared the bomb while the team searched for the missing Milo and found the Atlanteans, whose civilization had fallen into decline without the Crystal. On Rourke's orders, Winnie helped to mine the crystal for profit - he dreamed of opening a flower shop for the family. But when Princess Kida was taken away with the crystal, he realized that the Atlanteans would die, and sided with Milo along with the others. In flying machines, he participated in the rescue by accidentally activating a volcano that consumed Rourke's supporters. The crystal saved the city from lava. In gratitude, the Atlanteans gave them treasures, crystals, and an elevator to the surface. They kept the secret of Atlantis, and Vinnie spent a share on reviving the family flower shop.
Vincenzo Santorini (Vinnie)
Vinnie's character
is very fond of his job as a demolitionist, and in general is in a calm and sarcastic mood, making numerous witticisms throughout the expedition, as well as playing a prank on Milo. He has a strange habit of adding spices to his explosives: "you can't make a bomb without oregano, but oregano makes a very good bomb", "next time: an extra portion of oregano; Next time: ground chili peppers."
Over time, he came to trust Milo to develop plans for their team during missions. Apparently, he likes tuns, he considers them "sporty". Trying to compare the Vulgard to something, Vinnie says that salamanders are "too cute" to be compared to him, implying that he likes amphibians. Vinnie hates magic, or, as he calls it, "hocus pocus".
Vincenzo Santorini (Vinnie)
Vincenzo "Vinnie" Santorini was born in 1876 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Since the film is set in 1914, he was 38 years old at the time of the events. He had an aunt named Rose, who he said was a nice woman, but with very large bones, and seeing her in a swimsuit is the last thing you want to see in the water.
His family owned a flower shop, and one day he was working there making prom corsages ["Well, you know, the kind you put on your wrist."] when a nearby "Chinese Laundromat" exploded due to a gas leak. He survived, but the store was destroyed. Taking what happened as a "sign from above" and succumbing to the charm of the power of explosions, Vinnie began a career as a specialist in the demolition of buildings. Over time, he came up with new ways to make explosives, such as adding oregano or ground chili pepper to the mixture, claiming that "it explodes very loudly." Interestingly, the surname Winnie is the name of an island that is believed to be the "real" Atlantis.
Audrey Rocío Ramirez
Her father Manuel is retiring after an expedition to Iceland, where the "Shepherd's Diary" was found. Audrey replaces him on the march to Atlantis, and then agrees to find a giant crystal from the book and sell it on the black market. As the chief mechanic, she struggles to keep the Ulysses on the move during the Leviathan attack, but realizes that the ship is doomed and reports to Commander Rourke, who orders the evacuation. On the way to Atlantis, Audrey and her team check the mechanisms, and when the Driller's rotor breaks, she wants to take the part from the truck, but Milo fixes it himself. Audrey is not delighted, hits him twice on the arm for flinching, but later takes him with her for a break. She asks Milo about his grandfather Thaddeus and tells him about herself: she dreams of opening a premium car repair shop with her father with the money from the expedition, and her sister is a champion boxer. After falling into a cave due to fireflies, Audrey notices that the trucks survived, landing on the soft ashes of a dormant volcano. Fascinated by the beauty of Atlantis, she and Cookie explore the market, comment on the tattoos of the locals, but are horrified to see the US flag on his stomach. She follows Rourke as he manipulates the crystal and is shocked when he punches the dying king. After the Heart returns, Milo encourages the team to think about the consequences, and Audrey, feeling guilty for the Atlantean Blood Workshop, is the first to side with him and participate in the battle against Rourke. Along with Sweet on a flying fish, they try to free the container with Kida and the Heart while Milo and Vinnie distract the enemies, but Rourke and Helga drop the bombs. In the end, Milo defeats Rourke, saving Kida, the Crystal, and Atlantis. Audrey is honored for her bravery, she kisses Milo on the cheek and playfully slaps her arm for flinching. On the surface, she inserts the crystal into her barrel, and in the report to Whitmore, she looks like a lady, although she behaved like a tomboy during the expedition. She probably opened a workshop with gold from the Atlanteans and took in her cat Milo the Fluffy when he stayed in Atlantis.
Audrey Rocio Ramirez
Audrey's character
is generally aggressive and sarcastic, and she is very proud of her family and work. Although her sister, who is now engaged in boxing, is as aggressive as she is, Audrey was drawn to the tranquility of her father's workshop, and she chose engineering. And despite the outward sternness, she cares deeply about her friends and family and was the first to turn her back on what Rourke was doing to help Milo.
In
1901, at the age of 5, she began working in her father's auto repair shop as an assistant mechanic. Early she showed interest in mechanical engines; At the age of 7, she became a full-fledged student.
She joined Henry Ford Automotive in 1905 at the age of 9 as an apprentice mechanic. At the age of 11, she was entrusted with her first leadership position. She was instrumental in negotiations with the nascent automobile unions in 1909. It is believed that it was she who developed the prototype of the assembly line method in 1909. In 1910, she developed a cooling system with a centrifugal pump with a gearbox. She assisted in the development of bevel drive gears in 1910. She participated in the development of the Ford (irreversible) low-speed steering system in 1912.
Audrey Ramirez
Audrey Rocio, the daughter of master mechanic Manuel Ramirez (retired from Whitmore Industries), was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. Ever since she learned to walk, Audrey has shown an extraordinary talent for mechanics. At the age of one and a half, she could completely disassemble and reassemble any watch in Ramirez's house. When Audrey was three years old, Ana Ramirez discovered that the baby could open any lock. Mrs. Ramirez despaired of trying to keep sweets in the house, as it became clear that no matter how complex and expensive the lock on the pantry was, Audrey would cope with it in a matter of minutes.
Even though Audrey was almost as aggressive as her older sister Nena, she was drawn to the tranquility of her father's workshop. At the age of four, Audrey built a 1996 ATV, and it became clear to Manuel that his daughter had what he called "flair." Although he could never tell his customers that their cars were being repaired by a child, Manuel took his daughter as an apprentice.
In 1905, the Ramirez family moved to Detroit, where both father and daughter worked nights at Henry Ford's automobile plant to supplement the family budget. Audrey blossomed in Ford's huge, well-equipped machine shop. She began to engage in research and invention, specializing in gears and hydraulics. Thanks to its assertive nature, it soon found itself at the forefront of the new labor movement in the automotive industry.
Henry Ford, being a sensible man, learned early on to take Audrey Ramirez seriously. The Ford Automobile Plant today is considered one of the most progressive and highly paid enterprises in the automotive industry. Manuel Ramirez, retiring, stated that despite his relationship with his daughter, he had never met a more talented mechanic to replace him. Currently on probation.
Joshua Sweetheart
Joshua Strongbear Sweet (Milyaga) is a military doctor, a member of the expedition in search of Atlantis. He was born in 1872. His father was a military medic and his mother was a Native American Arapaho. Joshua spent his childhood on the Pine Ridge Reservation (Dakota), then at military bases in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
His uncle, an Indian elder and healer Iron Cloud, became his mentor in medicine. Later, Joshua received a formal medical education: a doctorate in medicine from Howard University (1895), a doctorate in herbology from the University of London (1897). He participated in the Spanish-American War, served as a field surgeon. Joshua also studied Ayurvedic medicine in India (1905) and tropical medicine in the Ivory Coast (1908).
In
1914, Joshua joined an expedition sponsored by Preston Whitmore and led by Captain Lyle Rourke. At first, he was in league with Rourke, planning to seize and sell the Heart of Atlantis, a giant crystal that is the power source of an ancient civilization.
However, when Rourke began to abuse the dying king of Atlantis, Joshua was the first of the team to question his actions and defected to Milo Thatch. He tried to save the king, but failed. It was Joshua who revealed Rourke's true intentions, which helped Milo stop him.
Joshua Milaga also appears in the sequel, the animated film Atlantis: The Return of Milo (2003).
Joshua's character
features are a tall, muscular, bald man with dark skin. He is good-natured and optimistic, but sometimes mixes up priorities when trying to do several things at the same time. At the same time, he appreciates both official medicine and non-traditional practices that his uncle taught him.
Preston Whitmore
Preston Whitmore is an eccentric millionaire, industrialist, and philanthropist. He attended Georgetown University, where he met and became friends with Thaddeus Thatch, a friendship that lasted until the latter's death. Both graduated from university in 1866: Thatch became an archaeologist, and Whitmore began his path to financial success at Whitmore Industries, a private corporation that owns logging, railroad, shipping, mining, shipbuilding, and cattle ranching enterprises.
Despite being considered a visionary trailblazer due to his company's technological advancements, and despite his eccentric nature, Whitmore was an extremely private person. He appeared in public only in case of emergency. Otherwise, he led a reclusive lifestyle and met only with the closest people.
He was also a business rival of Eric Hellstrom, the owner of a shipping empire. This competitor became known as "modern Odin" when he bought a castle in Old England and named it Asgard. After the stock market crash, Whitmore lost contact with Hellstrom for many years. He believed that his long-time rival had gone mad.
Helga Katrina Sinclair
Helga is a trusted ally of Commander Rourke on the expedition that found Shepard's Diary in Iceland. She is aware of his secret goal: to find a giant crystal from the book and sell it on the black market. Whitmore sends her after Milo Thatch, who must replace her deceased grandfather and lead the search for Atlantis.
As the second-in-command, Helga follows Rourke's orders and pilots the Aqua-Evac, the vessel on which the Leviathan is abandoned after it is destroyed. Discovering that Atlantis is a thriving civilization, she begins to doubt the mission when she sees living people, and even tries to extinguish the tents set on fire by fireflies. However, he continues to follow Rourke to the crystal - the Heart of Atlantis, the source of the city's energy.
Helga witnesses Princess Kidagakash being given the Heart and remains loyal to Rourke even as Milo convinces the others to reconsider. When
Rourke, trying to lighten the load, throws Helga off, she clings and kicks him for breaking the contract, but he gains the upper hand and pushes her off the balloon with the words "nothing personal". As she falls, Helga manages to fire a flare gun at the main balloon, preventing it from getting up, and repeats his own words before firing. She dies from her injuries and her body is absorbed by lava during a volcanic eruption. The team decides to announce that Helga is missing.
Helga Katrina Sinclair
Ms. Sinclair is an experienced drill coordinator and instructor who has an analytical mind for strategizing. Charisma, intelligence and aggressiveness make her an excellent coach and enforcer.
As Commander Rourke's right-hand man, she personally supervises the execution of his orders. She is cold-blooded in critical situations, masterfully wielding small arms. From 1904 to 1907, she studied aikido in the Philippines with Morihei Ueshiba (rank of yudansha-yodan), and later continued her studies with Lyle Rourke as a teenager. An expert in Henka-waza, Tantō-dori, and Tachi-dori, however, he is inferior to Rourke: he easily defeats her in hand-to-hand combat, using graceful movements, without even resorting to physical force.
He is proficient in tactical combat, knives, Colt throwing, bo, kama, tantō, katana, and most firearms. In 1911, she was trained in the use of a rifle and shotgun at Quantico.
Despite her skill, she is significantly weaker than Rourke in combat and swordsmanship, having once broken her ankle with a barely noticeable movement. This gap is explained by the fact that Rourke was her mentor and knows all the nuances of her style, in addition to being physically and technically superior, taking advantage of the gaps in her training.
Helga Katrina Sinclair
Helga is a tall, attractive, light-skinned German woman with a slender athletic figure, dark green eyes, long blonde hair braided to the side and pulled together by two brown elastic bands, curved eyebrows, and a mole under her left eye. She had ruby red lipstick on her lips.
She is usually dressed in a black turtleneck over a white tank top, a large brown belt with tools around her waist, brown gloves, dark olive military-style cargo pants, and brown knee-high boots. Sometimes she wore an olive-green trench coat over this outfit.
When she first met Milo Thatch, Helga wore a white fur hat and coat, diamond earrings, a black dress with a slit on her right leg, black gloves, and black high-heeled shoes. To look even more seductive, she let her hair down and left it lying freely.
Helga Katrina Sinclair
Miss Sinclair, the eldest of six children (and the only girl), has been accustomed since childhood to rely not only on her own mind, but also on her fists.
She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of career U.S. Army Major Alexander Sinclair. Numerous travels at an early age, as well as acquaintance with different cultures and customs (Frankfurt, 1884–1887; Mannheim, 1887–1889; Stuttgart, 1889–1892; Tori Station, 1892; Vicenza, 1892–1893; Zama Camp, 1893–1894; Yongsan, 1894–1897; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, 1897–1901). Miss Sinclair showed exceptional athletic ability at the age of four, and her mother advised her to take up dancing.
However, under the influence of her father and brothers, Miss Sinclair began to study martial arts. At seventeen, while serving in Maryland, she was introduced to Commander Rourke. After moving to Fort Dix, she began studying tactics and firearms under her father's tutelage. Her skills impressed Commander Rourke, and he saw her as a potential (in Rourke's opinion) as an undercover agent and spy. In August 1903, she briefly toured with Commander Rourke to continue her studies.
In 1907, she married 1st Lieutenant Christopher Jenkins of the United States Army. Presumably widowed in 1908. She first contacted Whitmore Industries (on the recommendation of Commander Rourke) in April 1911. On December 5, 1911, she got a job as a bodyguard and chauffeur for Preston Whitmore. He currently holds the above-mentioned positions at Whitmore Industries.
Captain Lyle Tiberius Rourke
Rourke leads an expedition to find the Shepherd's Diary in Iceland with his grandfather Milo and Thaddeus Thatch. Secretly ripping out a page about a giant crystal, he later convinces the team to steal it to sell on the black market. As commander, Rourke puts mission success ahead of lives, allowing losses in the Leviathan attack. He keeps to himself, finds a way out through a volcano and, seeing a living Atlantis, convinces Helga Sinclair not to change her goal.
When Milo reveals the betrayal and refuses to help, Rourke threatens Princess Kyda, blows up the doors, and demands an answer from the king. Refused, he wounds the king and solves the riddle from the symbols himself. In the Crystal Chamber, he locks Kida in the Crystal Chamber, ignoring Milo's pleas for the Atlanteans to die, beats him and breaks his grandfather's photo. The team leaves Rourke, he blows up the bridge and leaves with Helga.
While escaping in the balloon, Milo rams him, Rourke drops Helga, but she knocks the balloon down. Enraged, Rourke tries to kill Milo with an axe, but he injures him with a shard of crystal; Rourke turns into a crystal and dies in the propellers. On the surface, the team lies to Preston that Rourke has "blown to pieces" or "missing".
Captain Lyle Tiberius Rourke
Lyle Tiberius Rourke was born in 1860 and was introduced to military life from an early age. In 1864, his father, a cavalry officer named Lieutenant Colonel Jackson, was killed in action during the Civil War. After being expelled from boarding school several times for fighting, Rourke decided to follow in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the military at the age of fifteen. There he showed outstanding leadership talent due to his analytical mind, charisma and reluctance to admit surrender. He married in June 1887, but his wife left him just four months later.
During his career, he participated in many expeditions, including leading the Whitmore expedition to Atlantis.
Rourke's
appearance is a tall, middle-aged man with gray-blue hair, thick square-shaped eyebrows, and a broad, muscular torso. Initially, he is dressed in the standard military uniform usually worn by army commanders. After being attacked by the fire flies, he takes off his military jacket and remains in a tank top, cargo pants, and boots like the rest of the crew. This transition symbolizes who Rourke really is. After Milo crystallized him at the climax, his clothes merged with his body and he turned into a crystallized humanoid monster, a reflection of his madness. Cracks appear on his body, through which rays of red light break through. Every movement causes him unbearable pain until he falls to pieces.
Kidagakash (Kida) Nedakh
Character
Strong, brave, belligerent, sweet, combative.
The description of
Kid's appearance is very attractive, as she is a tall and slender girl. Despite her rather narrow shoulders, she has wide hips, but her waist remains in excellent shape. Like all Atlanteans, she has dark skin, white hair, and blue eyes. She is dressed in ordinary blue fabrics in the form of a skirt, and her chest is covered by a blue bandage. According to Milo Thatch, she is nine thousand years old.
After she became the ruler of Atlantis, she began to wear more regal robes

History of Atlantis
In 6800 BC, an accidental release of energy caused a gigantic tsunami that threatened to destroy the capital of Atlantis. A huge azure light hovering over the city summons the queen and lifts her into the air so that they unite and save the city. Her young daughter, Princess Kidagakash, watches in tears until her father, King Kashekim Nedah, runs up to her and closes her eyes. The power of the crystal creates a protective barrier around the city center, preventing it from being destroyed by a tsunami. However, because of this, the city is buried under sinking water.
The beginning of the story
Here is an abbreviated text (about 1980 characters with spaces), where all the key events are preserved:
The action takes place in 1914. Milo Thatch, a young scientist from the Washington Museum, searches for the mythical Atlantis from the diary of his late grandfather Thaddeus. The scientific community does not support him, but the eccentric billionaire Preston Whitmore, a friend of his grandfather, finances the expedition. Milo joins in as a linguist. The team sets off on the steam submarine Ulysses, but the ship sinks after being attacked by the giant mechanical guardian Leviathan. The survivors get to the grotto and start searching for the city in the diary. The Atlanteans are watching them. After losing the equipment, the heroes find the ancient city and get an audience with the king, who allows them to stay only for one day. Milo grows closer to Princess Kida. She shows the city and says that the Atlanteans have forgotten how to read ancient texts and cannot use flying machines. Milo deciphers the inscriptions and reveals the secret of a giant crystal - the source of energy of the Atlanteans. Captain Rourke decides to steal the crystal for the Kaiser. His mercenaries take Milo and Kida prisoner, seize the palace and mortally wound the king. As he dies, the king asks Milo to save Kida and the state. A battle begins between the Atlanteans and Rourke's people. The Atlanteans win, but the explosion of the balloon causes a volcanic eruption. The heroes take the container with the crystal and return to the city. Kida activates the crystal, awakening the ancient guardians, who create a protective field that saves Atlantis from lava. Milo becomes the main restorer of the city and stays with Kida, while his comrades return to the United States with rich gifts.
