Kuromorimine Girls' Academy (Girls und Panzer)

Nishizumi Maho: The commander of Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. She has dark brown hair styled into a neck-length bob with jagged bangs covering her forehead, and dark brown eyes. She has predatory, hunting eyes and a pretty face. She is 163 cm tall and 19 years old. She was born in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Her birthday is June 1st. Blood type: A. Outside of Sensha-Do. She drives the flagship Tiger Ausf. E "Tiger I" in yellow. Maho has always been an excellent student and excelled in everything she did. She is the top student at Kuromorimine, an experienced commander both in and out of the tower, and a model heir to the Nishizumi family. Despite her apparent aloofness, she is not devoid of humanity. She is cold, detached, focused, strategic, intelligent, and cool-headed.

Her mother: Nishizumi Shiho, a member of Sensha-Do. She has long, dark brown hair. She is strict, cold, and serious, always expecting high results from both her daughters.

Younger Sister: Nishizumi Miho. A former Kuromorimine student, she abandoned her flagship tank to save Koume during a battle with Pravda, breaking her 10-game winning streak. She has light brown hair and light brown eyes. She attends Oarai.

Erika Itsumi: Sub-commander and commander of the Tiger II tank. Erika has shoulder-length platinum hair with bangs covering her forehead and strands framing her face. She has blue eyes. She is 159 cm tall and 19 years old. She was born in Hitoyoshi, Kunamoto Prefecture. Her birthday is March 6th. Her blood type is AB.
Beneath her arrogance and rudeness lies a burning desire to become stronger at any cost. She harbored a serious grudge against Miho from her first year at Kuromorimine, right up until Miho "left" Kuromorimine and then betrayed them by becoming a commander of another school, despite her previous claims of completely abandoning Sensha-Do.

Koume Akaboshi: Erika's second-in-command in the Black Kampfgruppe. She has dark red, tousled hair that reaches her neck, with strands framing her face and a few wavy strands falling over her forehead. She has gray eyes. She is 157 cm tall. 19 years old Her birthday is March 22nd. She wears a gray shirt, a dark blue pleated skirt, black knee-highs, and black shoes. She drives a Panther Ausf. G medium tank and is a sweet girl. As a caring person, she was worried about Miho's ability to continue practicing Sensha-Do after such an injury. She blamed herself for Miho's defeat and departure and felt bad about what happened. In the past, Miho had saved her from her own sunken tank, but lost the fight.

Hida Ema: Ema is the driver of the Maus tank. She has dark brown, tousled hair that reaches her neck, with strands framing her face and bangs covering her forehead. She is 160 cm tall and 19 years old. Her birthday is March 22nd. In battle, Ema is aggressive and easily angry. She handles stress poorly, snaps at her subordinates, trembles with fear, and even panics when Maho Nishizumi calls her to what she believes is a strategy meeting. However, she has also shown herself to be quite polite and kind: she apologized for accidentally bumping into someone and thanked them for gifts. Apparently, she is not picky about chocolate, "as long as it's edible."

Katsuya Meg: The commander of a Panzer III tank. She has neat, jet-black hair down to her neck and brown eyes. She wears black glasses with round lenses. She is 161 cm tall and her birthday is March 10th. She is 19 years old. Meg Katsuya is a rather timid girl off the battlefield. However, inside the tank, she can act arrogant and condescending. This may or may not indicate cowardice. Her relatively minor and non-combat role as a scout and decoy, as well as her more timid nature, may indicate that she may have been junior in rank, but was entrusted with tank command because she was not prepared for direct combat.

Kojima Emi: JagdPanther SPG commander. She has short, dark, sleek hair and brown eyes. She is 160 cm tall. She is 19 years old. Her birthday is September 15th. Emi flies into a rage whenever she is reminded of the Hetzer, unlike her usual calm and gentle nature. Like some of her colleagues, she is a kind and slightly sensitive girl. However, she easily loses her temper, especially if negative events (such as track changes) occur too often. When she gets angry, she starts waving her arms. She blames herself for not taking a defensive position in time and failing to prevent the enemy from breaking through the encirclement. In stressful situations, she often cries, remembering her mother.

Geshiko: The Panther tank commander. She has dark brown hair that reaches her neck, with bangs framing her face and covering her forehead. She has brown eyes. She is 158 cm tall and 18 years old. The Panther commander, like most of her fellow soldiers, is cool, collected, and efficient when following a plan. Unfortunately, she does not handle unforeseen circumstances well, issuing contradictory orders and neglecting the original mission objectives. She is prone to panic in stressful situations: when she realized there was an enemy tank in the center of her squad, she screamed and kicked her gunner. (Although, she may have stomped on her gunner's left shoulder to emphasize the importance of the order to turn left and engage the enemy.) She may be a bit pessimistic, as she believed Maho had called them into a meeting.

As a result, the school is highly focused around senshado, to the point where the senshado team is held in adoration by the other students. This emphasis creates a school atmosphere that places high value on the principles of justice, law-abiding conduct, persistence and determination. However, it is also the strict and rigid doctrines of the Nishizumi style that translates into the classroom, creating an exacting, punitive and high-pressure environment amongst the students that has only recently begun to change

Kuromorimine Girls' Academy: An Iron Cross with the kanji for the school name (黒森峰, Kuromorimine, literally "Black Forest Peak") superimposed on top of it.

Uniform:
The regular Kuromorimine uniform consists of a featureless gray jacket with a black collar and skirt. The school insignia is displayed on the left lapel of the collar. There is also a dark blazer that may be worn over the jacket. The senshado uniform consists of a dark red shirt and matching skirt, as along with a black jacket and side cap with a matching red trim.

Sensha-do is a team sport in which a group of girls controls a certain number of tanks, grouped together as a team, and battles the opposing team on a pre-selected field, the size and terrain of which can vary from match to match. A match is a simulated battle in which the tanks must fire at the opposing tanks without being hit in return. If a tank is hit and can no longer fight, it is considered disabled, and a white flag appears from its hull, signaling to the others that it is out of the match. The primary goal for victory depends on the type of match, of which there are only two.

Flagship Destruction: You don't have to destroy all the enemy tanks to win. You must destroy a tank with a blue flag on its hull, called a flagship. Destroying such a tank will result in a victory for one of the schools.

Deathmatch: All tanks fight to the last one standing. The main objective is to destroy all enemy tanks.

Match: The main objective of each match depends on the Sensha-Do and their judges. The projectile must destroy the tank from the outside without causing injury to the crew. If the tank is successfully destroyed, a white flag appears from the hull (or from the bottom if the tank is upside down). If the projectile ricochets, the white flag does not open.

Sensha-do is perceived more as a sport in which girls have fun and compete in a friendly atmosphere. Like most modern sports, there are leagues, tournaments, rules, teams, and spectators who watch sensha-do matches in the stands or on television. Sensha-do is a form of martial arts that uses tanks as weapons. This martial art is practiced exclusively by women, from elementary school to high school, university, and adulthood. Sensha-do is to help women build self-esteem, become professional and effective citizens, and develop the qualities necessary to be good wives and mothers.

How does a white flag work?
• Since shells physically cannot penetrate a tank, vehicle destruction is ensured by electronics and sensors operating in a single chain.
[Projectile impact → external grid of piezoelectric sensors on the armor → Impact force and angle of attack are measured → Internal heat spots → Virtual confirmation of penetration. Emergency shutdown/pyrocartyl pulse. Engine shutdown and turret lockout → guns. → detonation and raising of the white flag]. At the moment of impact, they record the impact force in joules, the shell's angle of impact, and the specific armor zone. Calorimetric heat sensors are also located inside the cabin. If the armor at the impact point heats up significantly, this data serves as a secondary confirmation system and is combined with external data to eliminate errors. The onboard computer instantly takes this data and compares it with historical armor penetration tables from World War II.

Shells:
• In Sensha-Do, shells are made of soft metal, but their structure resembles regular shells modified for training purposes. Shells are used, both armor-piercing and high-explosive fragmentation (and other WWII-era shells), but their explosion is reduced to prevent crew dislocation.

Tank Structure:
• The tank is redesigned in workshops: rivets are cut off, and the interior is lined with strong metal to prevent the internal armor from chipping and reduce the explosion risk, but at the same time, the external armor is easily deformed:

Killing:
