Kuromorimine

Miho is known for her cheerful and polite personality, sometimes showing shyness, and as a very talented commander in Sensha-dō. During each Sensha-dō match, she becomes serious, calm, and determined. Her hobby is collecting bandaged teddy bears, called boko, of which she already has many in her apartment and in her room at the Nishizumi family home.

Miho is a girl of average height with short light brown hair and light brown eyes. She bears a striking resemblance to her older sister.

Miho usually wears the Kuromorimine Girls' Academy uniform; she wore the Kuromorimine uniform. In less formal situations and at home, she wears a variety of casual clothes; in particular, when she came home, she wore a yellow dress with white sleeves.

Miho, one of the heirs of the Nishizumi School of Armored Warfare, once attended Kuromorimine Girls' Academy and served as the executive director of the sensha-do team under her older sister, Maho, and mother, Shiho. After an accident during a match in which Miho tried to save her fighters, it cost the school the victory.

Nonna is known for her calm, gentle, yet cool personality, as well as her devotion and special relationship with Katyusha. Nonna is Katyusha's closest colleague, and she does everything she asks because she considers Katyusha special, usually without hesitation or protest, most often giving her piggyback rides to compensate for Katyusha's short stature. Despite this, she is not averse to occasionally teasing her, just as Katyusha often teases Nonna. It is clear that only Nonna could allow such behavior without incurring Katyusha's wrath, as their relationship is very close, like that of mother and daughter, despite the fact that Katyusha, with the exception of certain specific situations, is ultimately in charge. Besides Katyusha, Nonna's only known friendship is with Klara, a transfer student from a Russian school, with whom she usually communicates in her native language, which irritates Katyusha, as she understands nothing of what they say.

Nonna is a tall, beautiful, strong, and elegant girl with straight, waist-length dark brown hair with a small strand in the middle, light blue eyes, and noticeably large breasts for her age. She usually wears the Truth Sensha-do uniform and black knee-high socks.

Nonna is a student at Pravda Girls' High School and acts as Katyusha's assistant. She also often takes care of Katyusha, allowing her to sit on her shoulders to compensate for her small stature.

In the anime "Sensha-do", Nonna serves as a tank commander and gunner of one of the most powerful Soviet tanks of World War II, the IS-2.

BC Freedom is best known for the intense political and social strife between its two factions. Internal strife and conflict are widespread, hindering the school's effective functioning. The school is reminiscent of Free and Vichy France, with elements of the pre-revolutionary era.

A small, intimate school that frequently makes significant modifications to its equipment. Its students are excellent tank drivers and highly accurate marksmen. They are known to enjoy hiking and solitude. The school is located in Finland.

A school that uses a large number of light and small medium tanks. The students have little understanding of strategy and are preoccupied with frontal assaults. They represent Imperial Japan.

A very prestigious school with a very large and strong senshado team. They have won more senshado tournaments than any other school. The school is the birthplace of the Nishizumi style. Their tank arsenal and tactics emulate the Wehrmacht.

The school often sails far north, resulting in cold and snowy winters. At the time of the anime series, they are the reigning champions of the Senshado Tournament. The school and its tank forces resemble the Soviet Union.

A large but poor school. Its students are energetic and impulsive. They love food and cooking and are known for their lavish parties. They primarily study in a tankette format and are usually the underdogs against other large schools. They are inspired by Italy.

A very large school that operates a huge fleet of tanks. Their students are open, friendly, and enthusiastic. They love to eat a lot and often throw parties. Most of their tanks are modified M4 Shermans. They represent the United States of America.

A large school with a strong senshado team. Its members value elegance and restraint. They are also known for their excellent tea service. The school uses many British models from the early war period and is decorated in a British style.

The main school in Girls und Panzer. Nominally a secondary school in the Senshado High School League, Ooarai has the smallest Senshado team and the fewest tanks. The school's tanks come from various countries, and the school has no specific theme.

Maho, like Miho, comes from a family that traditionally practices Sensha-dō. They attended Kuromorimine Girls' Academy together until they were defeated by Truth Girls' High School in the Sensha-dō finals last year. Miho's decision to leave command of Kuromorimine's flagship tank to aid the crew of a Panzer III tank that had slipped into a nearby body of water led to their defeat. Had they not lost, Kuromorimine would have achieved ten consecutive tournament victories—an achievement unheard of in the sport. As a result of the defeat, Miho left Kuromorimine and transferred to Ooarai Girls' Academy to escape Sensha-dō. Since then, Maho has quietly worked for Miho's benefit, allowing her sister to live the life she wants without the pressure of her mother's expectations.

Maho is known for her passion for Sensha-do and is considered a celebrity and talented leader throughout the country, as well as highly respected by her mother, sister, and teammates. She sometimes appears cold and distant, but this is actually a mask necessary to meet her mother's strict expectations. Behind this mask lies a very kind person, even to her opponents, and she loves her younger sister, Miho, very much. One of the main reasons she strives to be a good heir to the Nishizumi family is so that her sister can live the life she desires.

In the official spin-off manga, "Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu!", she appears quite kind and caring when she doesn't have important tasks, as shown when she tried to throw a Christmas party for the Kuromorimine students who weren't able to celebrate Christmas with their families. However, the general strictness of her school and her penchant for terse messages always make those around her feel uneasy. The fact that she knows little about parties and holidays also didn't help matters.

Maho is a girl with medium-length dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and is slightly above average height. She has a similar hairstyle to her sister, Miho, but hers is darker, with two strands sticking out on the sides of her head. Otherwise, she bears a striking resemblance to Miho.

Outside of battles in Sensha-dō, she typically wears the Kuromorimine Girls' Academy uniform, while during battles, she wears the Sensha-dō uniform. She has worn the Ooarai Girls' Academy uniform twice. In more casual settings, she can be seen wearing a white button-down shirt with gray horizontal stripes, a gray button, and a gray area around the neckline, as well as a light blue, above-the-knee dress, gray socks, and sneakers. She also wore a Christmas outfit to a party with several Kuromorimine tank commanders.

Maho is the daughter of Shiho Nishizumi and the older sister of Miho Nishizumi, a third-year student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy, the captain of the school's sensha-dō team, and the heir to the Nishizumi family. She commands a German Tiger I tank.

Erica's favorite flowers are butterfly orchids, and her favorite tank is the German Sturmtiger assault tank, armed with a 380mm rocket launcher.
Erica's birthday, March 6th, coincides with the following events:
The Battle of Medenine began in 1943. It was an Axis "smash-and-grab" attack launched in Medenine, Tunisia, in an attempt to halt the British advance along the Mareth Line. It was the last battle fought by German General Erwin Rommel in the North African campaign, and he finally returned to Europe three days after its conclusion.
Operation Spring Awakening (Unternehmen Frühlingserwachen) began in 1945. It was the last major German offensive of World War II, aimed at securing oil supplies and preventing the Red Army from advancing toward Vienna, Austria. The Germans failed to advance as far as they had planned due to a combination of organizational inefficiencies and enemy numerical superiority, and the offensive ended in failure.
Erika is named after the German marching song of the same name. Also known as "Auf de Heide" ("On the Heath"), it was written by military composer Herms Niel, published in 1938, and quickly adopted by the Wehrmacht. It became the most popular marching song in Germany during World War II.
Erica has an older sister.
The film seems to imply that Erika's favorite food is Glühwein und Eisbein (salted pork knuckle combined with mulled wine).
Also in the film "Der Film", Erika is one of the few heroines who did not attend Pravda High School and who carries Katyusha on her shoulders.

When Erika becomes the commander-in-chief of Kuromorimine after graduating from Maho Nishizumi's training, Nishizumi advises her to develop her own style of Senshado rather than simply sticking to Nishizumi's method of tank combat; Erika ultimately followed this advice during the Continuous Track Winter Cup, particularly in the quarterfinal match against Pravda, shown in "Girls und Panzer das Finale: Part 3".

In this battle, Erika swapped tanks with Emi Kojima, presumably to prioritize speed and maneuverability over armor, then stealthily approached Pravda's position on the hill and managed to evade enemy fire with swift maneuvers, thus approaching the enemy's flagship tank from a vulnerable position. Since Pravda had based its battle plans on knowledge of Kuromorimine's predetermined strategy, they were caught off guard by the enemy's sudden change in tactics and were unable to save their flagship tank before Erika's tank fired and immobilized the former.

However, in the fourth part of the anime "Girls und Panzer das Finale", Kuromorimine's team is apparently defeated by the St. Gloriana Girls' College team in a very intense match, which ultimately results in the destruction of two flagship tanks within seconds of each other: presumably, Kuromorimine's flagship tank was destroyed first, causing Erika to openly and loudly lament the outcome.

Erika, along with Maho, harshly criticized Miho for the humiliating defeat to Pravda Girls' High School in the previous Sensha-dō finals, which ended their championship streak, which had lasted only nine years. Miho has since left Kuromorimine and transferred to Ooarai Girls' Academy to avoid participating in Sensha-dō.

Erika initially appears to be a rather arrogant heroine, constantly insulting the Oarai team for their inexperience and constantly seeking to crush them. She has an extremely short temper and is prone to becoming enraged when things don't go her way, similar to Katyusha. She has harbored a strong dislike for Miho since their first year at Kuromorimine, going so far as to have Miho "abandon" Kuromorimine and then betray them by becoming a commander for another school, despite her previous declaration of leaving Sensha-Do entirely. However, by the end of the anime, she shows some decency when (along with Maho) she admits defeat to the Oarai team, cheerfully declaring, "Next time, we won't lose."

Events in Girls und Panzer: Little Army Two showed her softening considerably, scolding Sheska for escaping and bragging about her Kuromorimine prowess to Emi Nakasuga. She also showed humility after defeating Bellwall, acknowledging that the enemy team had outmaneuvered and cornered them at one point in the match despite having fewer tanks.

In the Das Finale series, when Erika is in her final year and Maho graduates, it is evident that she is greatly affected by the absence of her former commander in her life, and as a result, she has become more inclined to think for herself and improvise.

By the time of the 11th OVA episode, she also shows a more casual and humble personality, although she appears serious most of the time.

Erica is a girl of average height with shoulder-length platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes.

She is usually seen wearing either the standard gray Kuromorimine uniform or a black uniform designed specifically for Senshado, the latter including a headdress. She also wore the Ooarai uniform along with the rest of the reinforcements during the match against the All-Stars University Team in Der Film.

She once dressed up in a reindeer costume for Mahō's Christmas party, and later in the infamous Anglerfish Dance costume, a Christmas gift from Anzu Kadotani of Ooarai, which she wore during the festivities as well.

Of all the people I've analyzed in the sensha-do community, Erika Itsumi is one of the most complex leaders I've had the good fortune to understand. Beneath her arrogance and harshness lies a burning desire to become stronger by any means necessary.

Having joined the Kuromorimine sensha-dō team, Erika had come to terms with being just a rank-and-file soldier fighting under the Nishizumi banner. But she couldn't accept the fact that her youngest daughter was already being groomed as a future leader—despite her obvious shortcomings both in and out of the tank. The fact that Miho was too kind to her, allowing her to win their first duel on opposing sides, only added fuel to the fire.

When the Kuromorimine team lost to Pravda in the 62nd National High School Tournament, Erika's anger reached its peak. She was furious not only at Miho for transferring from another school ("running away," as she called it), but also at herself for failing to exert the necessary strength. It was at that moment that the flower that bloomed in the wasteland blossomed into a powerful force within the Kuromorimine team, ready to lead the charge and lead the team to victory.

The Panther commander, like most of her fellow commanders, is cool, collected, and efficient when following a plan. Unfortunately, she's terrible at handling unexpected events, issuing contradictory orders and ignoring the original mission objectives. She's prone to panic in stressful situations, screaming and kicking her gunner in the shoulder when she realizes there's an enemy tank in their line. (Although her kick to the gunner's left shoulder may have been intended to emphasize the order to turn left and engage the enemy.) She can also be a bit of a pessimist, as she believed Maho had called them to a meeting. However, she expressed unbridled joy when what she feared turned out to be an actual Christmas party.

The Panther's commander expresses anger and fury whenever reminded of the Hetzer. Like many of her colleagues, she is traumatized by the experience and seeks revenge on that ship's crew.

He seems to be quite good friends with the Jagdpanther, Maus, and Panzer III commanders, as they can be seen exchanging chocolates as a sign of friendship, and they all team up to go on a search for Erika together.

She admires Maho Nishizumi, claiming that she was the best in Japan in sensha-do.

Panther Commander is a woman of average height with medium-length light brown hair and gray eyes. When not wearing her Kuromorimine school uniform, she can be seen wearing a Kuromorimine Sensha-dō jacket and hat, and a maroon bandana around her neck.

In the anime, she has a spiky strand of hair (ahoge), but it is noticeably absent in the spin-off manga.

The Panther Commander is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. As her title suggests, she commands one of the school's Panzer V Panther tanks.

Her favorite song is the anthem of the Schwarzwaldspitz girls' school, "Panzerlied." It's unclear whether this is due to the school's patriotism, peer pressure (all her other classmates named it their favorite), or whether she simply doesn't know any other songs.
Before receiving her official name, she was nicknamed by fans as Jagdpanther-chan or Ritaiko, meaning "rail girl," due to the iconic scenes where she had to fix the rails twice.
Another nickname among fans is Naoshita-san, based on her catchphrase, "I just fixed it!" (Naoshita means "fixed" in Japanese).

Amy is a kind and somewhat sensitive girl. However, she is easily irritated, especially if negative events occur frequently (such as replacing the tracks). When angry, she tends to wave her arms. She blames herself for not having time to take a defensive position and prevent the enemy from breaking out of the encirclement. In stressful situations, she is prone to crying and calling for her mother. Amy becomes enraged whenever she is reminded of the Hetzer family, contrary to her usual calm and gentle nature. Like many of her colleagues, she is traumatized by the experience and seeks revenge on the team. She later changes her mind when the Turtles show her hospitality during her visit to school.

He appears to be quite good friends with Hida, the Panthers' commander, and Meg, as they can be seen exchanging chocolates as a sign of friendship and searching for Erika together.

She is a girl of above-average height with short, tightly slicked-back brown hair and light brown eyes. She is usually seen wearing the Kuromorimine Sensha-dō school uniform or the Kuromorimine school uniform. On one occasion, during a visit, she was wearing the Ooarai school uniform.

Emi is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. She commands the school's fighter jet, the Jagdpanther, and also pilots a Panther in the movie.

Her fan name is Sangou (number III, after the name of her tank model).
In keeping with Nishizumi's style, the Panzer III is the only Kuromorimine tank to retreat during the match against Ooarai, and it only did so to lure Ooarai's team into a trap.
The shot that immobilized the Panzer III struck it as it maneuvered around the Maus's left flank; given the angle of the shot, it's most likely that either Team English Fish or Team Leopon destroyed the hapless medium tank. Most likely, it was Team Leopon; with less training, they would likely have missed the Maus and accidentally hit the Panzer III.

Meg Katsuya is a rather timid girl outside of combat. However, inside the tank, she can become quite arrogant and condescending, laughing at Ooarai when they tried to destroy the Mouse. This may or may not indicate cowardice. Her relatively minor and non-combat role as a reconnaissance and decoy unit, as well as her more timid nature, may indicate that she is an undergraduate student trusted enough to command a tank but not yet ready for direct combat.

Unlike her teammates, she harbors no grudges against any of the Ooarai members in particular. On the contrary, she laments her failure to stick with Mau during the battle and destroy any of the enemy units. One of the recurring humorous moments in the manga is that she has no idea who shot her, and is desperate to find out.

Meg Katsuya is a short girl with short black hair and brown eyes. She wears large, round glasses. She wears either the jacket and hat of the Kuromorimine Sensha-dō school or the Kuromorimine school uniform.

She constantly mistakes the Type 89 for a light tank, seemingly never learning from her mistakes.
Her favorite song is the Kuromorimine school anthem. It's unclear whether this is due to patriotism, peer pressure (all her other teammates named it their favorite), or she simply doesn't know any other songs.
Since she didn't have a real name for many years, her fan name is "Mauko", where "mau" comes from the word "maus" and "ko" means "girl".
Emma Hida's birthday is March 28, which may be a reference to the Japanese invasion of Sumatra, the dismissal of Heinz Guderian as Chief of the OKH General Staff, the sixth meeting of the Anglo-French Supreme War Council, or the St. Nazaire Raid, when combined British forces finally disabled the Louis Joubert lock at St. Nazaire to prevent the German battleship Tirpitz from accessing open ocean convoy routes.
Emma's use of a Panzer IV tank in Episode 4 of "The Finale" marks the first time in the anime that a Panzer IV tank not belonging to Team Angler was shown.
Her credo in Sensha-dō has always been "Strength is Justice," but after her defeat by Ooarai, she changed it to "Mobility is Justice."

In combat, Emma is aggressive and easily irritated. She also reacts poorly to stress, snapping at her subordinates, trembling with fear, and even panicking when Maho Nishizumi calls her to what she perceives as a strategy meeting. However, she also shows herself to be quite polite and kind-hearted, apologizing for accidental clashes and expressing gratitude for gifts.

Emma is a girl of average height with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. When not wearing the jacket and headdress of the Kuromorimine Sensha-dō school, she can be seen wearing the Kuromorimine school uniform. She also wears large boots.

Emma is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. As her name suggests, she commands the school's Panzer VIII Maus tank (100 decals).

During the events of Little Army II, it remains unclear whether Koume is the new vice-commander or simply an upperclassman.
Sheska calls her Senpai, and when talking to Bellwall, she acts arrogant, implying that she was in charge of the hangar while Erica was away.
She is voiced by the same actress as Caesar and Yoshiko Akiyama, with Koume bearing a striking resemblance to the latter.
Interestingly, in the first few shots of her appearance, her hair was depicted as black, rather than short brown as is usually the case in other materials.

She was driving a Panzer III tank, which slid off a cliff into a body of water in the final minutes of the match. This incident indirectly cost Team Kuromorimine their tenth victory in their winning streak, as Miho abandoned Kuromorimine's flagship tank to rescue the doomed tank's crew.

Koume appears to be a sweet girl. She's caring and worried about whether Miho will be able to continue practicing Sensha-dō after her injury. She blames herself for Miho's defeat and departure, feeling guilty about what happened.

Koume is a girl of average height with short reddish-brown hair and dark blue eyes. She usually wears the Kuromorimine uniform.

Koume is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. During the finals of the 62nd National Tournament against Pravda, her tank fell into the river.
