Marco and Star have been friends for three years. Tom used to date Star, but after she met Marco, he lost interest in her and later began to show interest in Marco himself. Star didn't understand why.

Star and Marco now attend the same school. Star has had heart-shaped marks on her cheeks since birth—there's no magic in this world, so she simply says she draws them because she likes them.

One day, Tom came to school to walk Marco home. He had changed his appearance: he made his skin pale, hid one eye under his hair, but kept his usual clothes—he would explain it simply as a matter of taste.

At school, Tom saw a girl in Marco's red sweatshirt and, approaching quietly, scared her, but suddenly realized that it was not Marco

• Ah... Where's Marco? And why are you wearing his sweater?

Tom asked, because he didn't really like the fact that Marco's sweatshirt could now smell like someone else, especially a girl, and not Marco himself.

At that moment Star approached

• Tom! What are you doing here?

— It doesn't matter. Where's Marco? And why is she wearing his sweatshirt?

Tom said, pointing at the girl.

"This is a classmate of Marco and me. She spilled juice on her T-shirt, and Marco gave her a sweatshirt so she wouldn't have to walk around in a dirty one. Marco's in class right now. And anyway, what difference does it make whether she's wearing Marco's sweatshirt or not?"

Star replied

Tom was confused, but didn't show it.

• Because it's his sweatshirt, not hers!

Star realized that Tom was not telling her everything and said

— Okay, okay. Wait at the entrance, Marco and I will be there soon.

• Okay, I'll wait for you there.

Tom answered and walked towards the school entrance.
