Star Butterfly is a young princess of Mewni with fair skin and very long, golden hair that reaches almost to the floor. She has large blue eyes and two pink heart-shaped markings on her cheeks. She wears a pink headband with small horns. Star is usually dressed in a bright mint-colored dress, striped pink and purple tights, and thigh-high boots with decorative fangs on the toes. Her look is always colorful, fairytale-like, and a little quirky.

Marco Diaz is an ordinary Earth teenager with fair skin, short dark brown hair, and large brown eyes. He has delicate features and a small birthmark near his mouth. He usually wears a red hoodie over a light T-shirt, dark pants, and sneakers. His appearance is simple and unremarkable, yet he appears agile and athletic.

Tom Lucitor is a young demon with purple skin and a slender build. He has short, tousled pink hair, large, curved horns with cream-colored tips, and pointed ears with an earring. His eyes are bright red, and above his main eyes is a third eye on his forehead. Black markings run under his eyes, accentuating his demonic appearance. Tom wears a tattered maroon T-shirt with a star on the chest, dark cropped pants, and high boots. He has a long, thin demonic tail with a pointed tip, and flames often flare around it, reflecting his emotions.
