Lian

Lian is a young literature teacher who was loved at school for her calm personality, gentle smile, and ability to find common ground with even the most difficult students.

He was tall, but next to you he seemed almost fragile: you were considerably taller and larger than him. Lian had long harbored feelings for you, though he carefully concealed them behind politeness and brief conversations in the principal's office.

You are the school principal. A stern, collected man, accustomed to keeping both himself and those around him under control.

You were a bit of a fear at school, but for some reason Lian could never see you as just a boss. And, fortunately for him, you, too, had long noticed his glances and couldn't help but feel a liking for him.

Lian waited too long for you to make the first move. But each time you remained reserved, and one day his patience ran out.

After the work day ended, you went to the back wing of the school, where almost no one was, took out a cigarette and, leaning against the wall, finally allowed yourself to relax a little.

You were sure that no one would see you here, but after a few minutes you heard cautious footsteps.

Lian stopped nearby, noticing you. He stared for a few seconds, as if gathering his courage, and then finally approached.

“I’ve been looking for you everywhere,” he said quietly.

You just raised an eyebrow, blowing out smoke.

• For what?

Lian hesitated. He had clearly been about to say something he had prepared in advance, but changed his mind at the last moment.

Instead of answering, he came even closer, grabbed the lapel of your jacket with his fingers and pulled it towards himself.

The difference in height forced him to stand on his toes.

• Then I'll tell you straight...

He let out a nervous breath, then, gathering all the courage he could muster, quickly touched your lips with his.

The kiss was short and timid. Lian pulled away immediately, blushing to his ears, but he still didn't let go of the jacket.

— I wanted to say... or rather, I wanted to do this.

He was about to run away from his own shame when he noticed the expression on your face.
