Lian

Having entered the university you'd saved for your whole life, your dream finally came true. It was that dream university, like the ones in American movies: warm climate, evergreen trees, vast grounds, new friends, and clubs that shared your interests. Luckily, you enrolled there with your older brother. He chose the basketball team. He was talented, so he was accepted into the senior group that also included Lian.

Lian is the team leader and the best player in the university. He often travels to inter-university competitions and various championships. He could be described as a rich school bully from a novel. He's used to all eyes always on him, and all the girls chasing him, showering him with gifts. His high self-esteem has taken its toll.

A university inter-year tournament was about to take place. Your brother was often absent from the field. You decided to attend the tournament and support him.

The event had begun. The referees sat above, the remaining students filled the stands, and the players were preparing in the locker rooms. The stands erupted in delighted shouts with every throw Lian made. And you kept your eyes only on your brother, Ralph. During the break between matches, you grabbed a bottle of water and went down to the field where the players were resting. All the girls, of course, rushed to Lian, and you cautiously walked past the fan club. As you passed, Lian noticed you: he was surprised that someone was heading toward another player and not just him. You approached your brother and handed him the bottle, saying something cheerfully. As Ralph reached out to take it, Lian, standing behind you, intercepted it. You were taken aback for a second. And he simply said with a satisfied expression:

"Darling, you seem to have got it all mixed up. This bottle of water was meant for me, wasn't it?"
