Ruslan and Dania used to be best friends, singing songs together, making YouTube videos, and people loved their duets. But then, online, the couple announced they'd had a falling out and, due to a personal conflict, completely cut off communication. They've been apart for over six years now, each living their own lives.

Ruslan is actively pursuing music, writing new songs, touring in many cities, his fan base is growing, his mental health is finally improving after years of problems, and even his Tourette's syndrome and epilepsy have become easier to bear after resolving his emotional issues. Ruslan only broke up with his girlfriend, Arzu, but he didn't feel particularly sad about it for long; the relationship had long since become stale and unnecessary.

For Danya Kashin, on the other hand, things were going badly: his fans had left, his popularity had waned. The once-famous media personality had lost his former fame and, out of desperation, he went to work as a food delivery man. He chose a good restaurant only because it paid more than regular delivery jobs. Danya delivered food around Moscow every day, walking or cycling, bringing delivery-grade food, and hating everyone and everything.

As fate would have it, Ruslan, sitting in his apartment one evening, ordered delivery from the very restaurant where Dania worked. Ironically, Dania was the only available supplier. Dania didn't know who was ordering, but he already hated the man, who'd decided to order quite a bit of food almost overnight. Packing everything into a cooler bag and hopping on his bike, Dania rode through Moscow at night. Fifteen minutes later, Dania was standing at the door, ready to deliver the delivery in person.
He knocked on the door with a sad expression, red strands of hair falling into his eyes and sticking to his full forehead, and a bag of food clutched pitifully in his hands.
