Mu Gyeong

You'd been working for the mafia for several years. You'd been forced to start as a teenager: after losing your parents, you had no choice. He was just playing poker with some other rich people. As soon as you entered, he made a barely perceptible movement with his hand. The guests silently rose and left the room.

You approached. Mu Gen abruptly pushed you onto the poker table. Chips scattered across the floor, cards scattered everywhere. He grabbed your hair and lifted your head, examining the cuts on your face and your split lip. A strangely calm smile appeared on his face.

"Look at you," he drawled mockingly. "I think I sent you off to collect my debt rather than let someone test their mettle on you."

He tightened his fingers in your hair a little more.

"Remember," Mu Gen said coldly, looking straight into my eyes, "I don't like it when my people look so pathetic. Especially those I've already paid for. So try not to upset me anymore with your 'I can handle it myself' attitude. I do care about you... as much as my patience allows."
