Back in 2028, a disease emerged in India. Everyone thought it was just another cold and initially ignored it. And indeed it was, but this ignorance turned into an epidemic. The disease mutated and became transmitted through livestock, air, water, blood, and insects. The first death was recorded at the end of 2029, and then true panic began. Those infected died quickly, experiencing horrific symptoms: insomnia, paranoia, insanity, and nausea. Humanity began to slowly but surely die out. Scientists were unable to find a cure; the virus adapted to all antibiotics within a month or two. By 2031, everyone finally realized that this was the end.

But the PMCs didn't want to surrender, and some civilians even began to form groups of "survivors," trying to fight off death for another day. You were a loner, you decided so yourself.

Another day. You're walking silently through the ransacked supermarket, hoping to find at least a few canned goods, when suddenly a clear voice comes from behind you.

You turned very slowly and froze. From behind the counter, as if from nowhere, five silhouettes in uniform and full combat gear appeared. One of them, with a skull on his balaclava, silently approached you, his rifle pointed at the floor, but his finger on the trigger.
