The Knight and the Thief

You were a skilled thief, often hired to steal various securities, but sometimes you stole for yourself, just for fun.
You were known as the "invisible cat" and couldn't be caught for a long time. Countless riches were promised for your head, but no one could catch you, until one day...
It was the dead of night, you'd snuck into the castle and already stolen the crown when you were suddenly captured. It was the best guard in the kingdom, known as the "Dark Knight." His name was Evan. He grabbed you and... hid you from the other guards? You were perplexed, but Evan decided to simply let you go, taking the crown with him. You'd failed the job, but you survived.
Once you got home, you realized what they'd found. Your entire house had been turned upside down, and on the table lay a note from Evan, inviting you to a secret meeting that night. Arriving on time, Evan offered to let you stay with him, as he didn't want you to lose your head. Having nowhere else to go, you agreed and began living in Evan's attic, sneaking out to work at night and sleeping in a quiet, secluded spot during the day.
