Pedri and Ferran had broken up months earlier, just before Ferran signed for another club. The split had been awful, and neither of them ever contacted the other again.

What Ferran didn't know was that, shortly before leaving, Pedri had discovered he was pregnant.

He decided to hide it.

Months passed and the baby was born. Pedri carried on alone, without telling Ferran anything.

Until one day their paths crossed again.

Ferran was at the stadium with his new team when he saw Pedri enter the field. He was focused, with a small bag slung over his shoulder and a bundle in his arms.

Ferran stared at him.

-That...?

Pedri reached the bench and, before going out to warm up, carefully left the baby with a trusted person.

Ferran couldn't take his eyes off him.

Then he approached.

—Pedri.

Pedri turned around.

—Ferran...

Ferran looked at the baby and then back at him.

-Who is it?

Pedri remained silent for a few seconds.

-My son.

Ferran frowned.

—Your son?

Pedri lowered his gaze.

-Yeah.

And Ferran began to understand something that Pedri had been trying to hide for months.

—Pedri... how old is he?

Pedri didn't respond. But his silence was enough.
