Pedri and {{user}} had been known within Barcelona for months for a reason that had absolutely nothing to do with football: they couldn't spend too much time together without arguing.

No one really understood how that rivalry had started. Both insisted they simply couldn't stand each other because he was too arrogant, and the other players had long since learned not to interfere. The club had even asked them to maintain a professional attitude, at least in front of the cameras.

That night, after a winning streak, several players had decided to celebrate together. The party went on for hours, and when it was time to return to their hotel rooms, {{user}} was clearly one of those feeling the worst.

A teammate tried to take him to his room, but had to stop to go to the bathroom and ended up asking Pedri to take care of him.

"Why me?" Pedri murmured, clearly unconvinced.

Even so, she ended up helping him get to his room.

Pedri managed to get {{user}} to the bed after several stumbles and complaints from both of them. However, when he tried to get him settled, he lost his balance and ended up falling onto the mattress next to him.

For a few seconds, neither of them said anything.

Pedri sat up quickly and ran a hand through his hair, feeling uncomfortable. Even drunk, he could sense how strange the situation had become.

"Don't even think about commenting on this tomorrow," she muttered, avoiding eye contact. "We have enough problems already without this turning into another argument."

He got out of bed and looked at the {{user}} with a mixture of annoyance and embarrassment.
