Chester has become droopy, constantly walking with his head down. His stance has become clogged, he is constantly clamping down, trying to become more invisible. Chester became indecisive, he began to doubt everything and his every action required support from other people. Chester has lost hope that life can improve and is now of the opinion that if things can get worse, they will. Chester complies easily and offers no resistance, even if he is overwhelmed with anger at this point. His self-esteem became low, he realized that he was only a privileged fool, but in fact he was nothing. Chester became very dreamy: thoughts like he rebuffs or offends others himself, thoughts where he is not so weak physically, where everything is fine with his mother, and again Chester did not have to think about money for a day longer. He became embittered at the world, at his father, at classmates, at the school administration: he blames others for everything, although he understands in his heart that he himself is not doing anything to improve his situation. Chester changed a lot after everything that happened. He became quiet, laconic and tried not to fall for people once again. All his friends stopped communicating with him, their parents were against it, as Chester's family became impoverished. Chester became a terrible paranoid: he was afraid of every rustle, an accidental passer-by on the street, all even slightly pointed things seemed to Chester a weapon, steps behind his back made cold sweat run through his body. Chester did not speak to his father, becoming afraid of screams and noise in general. Mom became the only stronghold of safety in the new world, but even that he could not complain about life: Chester constantly wound up scenarios in head where her health would deteriorate due to concern for her son. Chester no longer considered the poor just lazy, who themselves chose such a life, now he understood everything. He tried to avoid going to school, sometimes his conscience tormented him and he came there, but often Chester ran to other areas instead of lessons, his parents still did not care. At school, Chester tried to hide, be invisible and trembled at every passer-by. Chester considers tears to be something shameful, so his emotions have nowhere to splash out. All emotions, all fear and anger, he kept everything in himself. Chester was actually terribly angry at everything that happened, he was angry every time he was beaten again, all this was accumulating and accumulating. His aggression was already overwhelming the body, which made Chester irritable and constantly clenched his fists when he again had to endure humiliation. He felt like nothing, not understanding how everything could collapse at one moment. Chester has already completely dropped his hands, even when sometimes he dreamed of being the same as classmates: noisy, without a moral framework, strong, being taller than others even at the bottom of the social ladder. Envy overwhelmed Chester, and also overwhelmed hatred for such people.

Chester grew up in a wealthy and loving family. His father was a businessman, things went uphill, since the birth of his only son, the family did not know poverty. However... Could it be so good? All 16 years Chester lived without fear for himself, his conditions were greenhouse: a private school with a great reputation, his parents never quarreled at home, he had friends, he was never limited in money. But everything turned over too abruptly. His father's business went bust with the scandal, with headlines peppering his name lately. The mother's health was crippled by nerves after this situation and a lot of money had to be spent on her treatment. For the sake of paying hospital bills, they had to sell property, and after her discharge, everything went to medicines for her. The family had to move to a rented apartment in a terrible area, as the house also went for sale. It was scary to walk here even during the day: many drunkards, hooligans, each wall was painted with graffiti, dubious personalities were constantly visible in the alleys, constant dismantling of groups. At night, bikers drove around the streets, keeping them awake. Theft, violence, rape and murder all flourished in the area. But the main horror for Chester was the school: it was a breeding ground for future or existing criminals. Everyone was divided into gangs and groups, each class constantly staged fights, all corridors and classes were painted with graffiti, railings were broken, dirt and garbage were everywhere. The school administration did nothing about it, the directors were never seen here, and the teachers themselves sometimes did not come to lessons.

Chester was placed in Grade 10 A. And unfortunately for him, it was this class that was considered the wildest even by the standards of this school... Now the first quarter of study was going on, but Chester already hated it all: every lesson someone in the class started fighting with each other, they threw pieces of paper over his head and laughed in every possible way. Chester was considered a rich boy and constantly extorted money that he no longer had. Otherwise, he was beaten. Chester tried to hide under the stairs or somewhere in the back rooms every break, because it was this time that was the most dangerous: the groups could arrange a spread throughout the school, start a raid, beating everyone who came to hand, take away the money of everyone who did not resist. Chester always returned from school with a new bruise and drooping appearance, but his parents did not have time for him. Father was constantly nervous, because everything fell on him: household chores, caring for his wife, making money. He completely forgot about his son and only fell upon him when he returned. Therefore, Chester ran away from home, he tried to leave for other areas, walking all day, but risked even returning home in the evening. Chester felt like forgotten garbage, which is trampled every day. His character changed a lot in such a short time. And only with his mother he could talk, but he could not tell her anything about the problems: Chester was afraid that she would be nervous and only smiled that he was doing well, even when a new bruise appeared on his face.

Chester used to be a gregarious guy. Almost everyone from his entourage was drawn to him and it was not about money: his parents created an environment for him where there was no place for people from other walks of life. He never saw poverty, violence and considered it another world. Chester would never have thought that one day all this would become his new life... Chester loved going out with friends, spending money and not looking at balance. He studied diligently, although the private school program was complicated. Relations with parents were excellent: they considered their son just a golden child, because there were no problems from him and acquaintances only praised their son. He was never denied anything, he was used to not counting money as if it were endless. Chester rarely found himself in trouble, but even finding himself in a police station for petty hooliganism, which he committed only out of curiosity and a desire for diversity, his parents did not scold him and hushed things up. Chester was not a compassionate kind-hearted, rather a quiet observer in confusion. Every time he heard about poverty on the news, he simply did not understand: why can't people just go to work? Chester believed that everything can be achieved by honest work and was infinitely far from the real world. Chester even treated the poor or the poor with some arrogance, he was almost squeamish, but he only awkwardly averted his eyes, trying to forget about what exists in the world. Chester chose his ideal world, where the environment is carefully selected, and troubles do not exist. That world where he was allowed to have carefree fun, spend money, not hear bad things and be isolated from scary things.

Teachers were paid a penny here, so there was a big shortage of personnel, which is why half of the lessons were not taught at school. And those lessons that were on the schedule were sometimes not taught either, since teachers could simply not come with impunity. The school principal didn't care. The administration has already given up, allowing groups of teenagers to be in charge of the school. These groups went beyond the school, gathering people in general from the area. There were fights over territory, gangs teaming up with bikers, people just being terrorised, but it was the norm in the area. Belonging to a group meant the obligation to fight, bring money and be the same marginal, but also gave privileges, since many groups were respected and their members were safe from others. No one wanted to attack a member of another gang, not wanting to start a war.
Chaos reigned at school: the strong took everything from the weak, especially the chance of a quiet life. New pupils were targeted automatically unless they proved they were ready to fight back.
The school had not been renovated for a long time, which is why every corner was painted with curses, beer cans were lying everywhere, they smoked right in the classrooms, and the toilets were just a place for negotiations, since the toilets had long been destroyed.
Girls could also be hooligans, there were even purely female groups and those where girls were the main ones. They were treated with the same respect if they proved their strength. Most often, gender did not matter here, it was important whether a person could defend himself.
