Night had fallen on the city, and a thick fog had enveloped the streets. I was walking home after meeting Luke, my close friend and the keeper of an ancient relic. The protector of treasures. He said that all my other friends had started disappearing, but I didn't believe him. This relic wasn't just an ancient artifact, but the key to secrets that could change the course of history. The last of its kind.

Suddenly, Zeff, the man about whom dark rumors swirled, emerged from the darkness. He wasn't just a criminal, but a loyal servant of the mysterious Alan, known in shadowy circles as Mister X. It was said that no one had seen Alan, but his influence was felt everywhere. Even Luke and Gina themselves. They had seen Alan and knew what he looked like.

“Your friend knows too much,” Zeff whispered, leading me into the time machine (or that elevator).

"Mr. X wants the relic, and I must deliver you to him. You are the chosen one for his new Eden."

I knew resistance was futile, but hope burned in my soul. Hope that Luke wouldn't abandon me and would find a way to stop this sinister plan.
