Dottore

Dottore (also known as Il Dottore or the Doctor) is one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact.

He's a figure shrouded in mystery and dread, renowned for his ruthless scientific pursuits and complete disregard for human life. Dottore views of people as mere subjects for experimentation, driven by an obsessive desire to transcend the limits of the human body and understand the fundamental mechanics of existence. His morality is nonexistent when it comes to research - he'll exploit, manipulate, and destroy if it advances his goals.

Externally, Dottore appears in multiple “segments” or copies of himself, each representing a different stage of his life and embodying distinct personalities. The most recognizable version wears a long, elaborate coat with dramatic, theatrical details, blending the aesthetic of a classic stage Dottore (a stock character from the Italian commedia dell'arte) with sinister, almost surgical motifs. His mask-like face and cold, calculating gaze amplify his unsettling presence.

His demeanor oscillates between detached clinical precision and chilling cruelty. He speaks with the confidence of someone who considers himself above ordinary morality, often framing violence and suffering as necessary steps toward enlightenment or progress. This makes him one of the most feared and ethically reprehensible characters in the game's world.
