Kord has a great passion for his mechs, which he often treats as if they were alive.
One example is when Diablos Nacho pierced him with a Dark Hedgehog, Kord went crazy.
As shown in The Thrill of the Game, Kord feels an extreme hatred/fear towards smooth jazz.

Powers and abilities
Kord is better than the average projectile launcher and can defeat many opponents with little effort. He seems to be very skilled because he taught Eli how to use projectiles first. He has a variety of powerful projectiles that can eliminate opponents quickly and efficiently.

Despite his skill with bullet pistols, Kord excels at building vehicles and machines for the Shane Gang. He has the ability to construct complex machines with limited time and materials. He's the one who ensures that all of the Shane Gang's equipment is up-to-date and capable of facing Blakk's new machines and vehicles.

As a cave troll, Kord has no trouble defeating his enemies, as he's usually larger than them. While not as agile as Eli or Trixie, he relies primarily on absorbing blows and dealing damage as quickly as possible. He has the ability to punch through metal and bend it at will, and he can easily take on multiple opponents. Being the slowest but also the strongest of the gang, he helps protect them if they ever need assistance.

Early life
Little is known about Kord, other than that he lived with cave trolls and that his family pressured him to be like them—a cave troll who built machines and such. Eventually, he discovered his passion for slug-slinging and decided to pursue it instead of following in his family's footsteps. In "Dawn of the Slug," it's revealed that as a young man he dreamed of being a security slug-slinger. At one point, he met Grendel, a good friend of his, and worked at the Mechanical Beast Factory as the head of advanced field testing. He automatically received new parts and upgrades from the factory.

Appearance
Kord, a caveman troll, is burly and muscular, capable of lifting even the heaviest objects. He stands out for his great height among the members of Shane's Gang and is the strongest physically of them all. He has blue skin, tattoos on his arms, dark brown eyes, and a small orange beard on his chin. It's theorized that his hair, under his helmet, is also orange and cut short into a pompadour for the obvious reason of always wearing the helmet.

Kord wears a white tank top and a black vest with the Shane Gang symbol on the front. He also wears a hat with a rhino horn and fingerless gloves with partial protection. Another Shane Gang symbol is displayed on his belt. Kord also carries jars that he uses to store slugs when not in combat. He wears grayish-brown pants and black boots.

Kord briefly wore a green shawl in King of Sling, when he and the Shane Gang disguised themselves to help the King of Sling.

Personality
Kord is a fun-loving and kind-hearted caveman troll. Despite his fearsome and dangerous appearance, he has a huge heart. Like any good troll, he loves to play pranks and is very easygoing. He enjoys telling jokes and acting when he tries to explain anything related to machines and mechs.

As a caveman troll, Kord enjoys building machines and upgrading equipment, especially that of the Shane Gang. He loves to boast about his engineering and construction skills and can't stand admitting defeat if he can't fix something. He's so passionate about machine building that he used to lock himself in the Shane Gang's garage to improve their mechs. Despite his love of crafting and building machines, he claims he'd rather be a Slugslinger than a full-time engineer like the rest of his family.

As a member of the well-known Shane Gang, he is loyal to his friends and will try to protect them wherever they go. He sometimes gives them affectionate nicknames; for example, Kord occasionally calls Eli "Brother." He rarely gets angry with any of his companions, although he did get frustrated when Eli consistently beat him in training. Eli even claims that his father told him that no one is more loyal, honest, and brave than a cave troll, which is what sparked the relationship between Eli and Kord in the first episode.

He has a somewhat stubborn attitude, as he doesn't like to admit defeat when he can't fix something. He claims he'd rather eat a toxic slug than admit he can't fix it. Despite his stubbornness and occasional outbursts of anger, he's a kind troll who loves helping others. He also enjoys playing video games (with Trixie or Eli) in his free time, as well as playing or watching Slugball, his favorite sport.

Appearance
It's blue with a helmet that has a horn on the front, large gloves with some metal, fingerless gloves, and a vest with the Shane symbol. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder and wears black boots with gray toes.

Analysis
Kord is an expert Mecha-Beast mechanic. He's overly proud and hates making mistakes. His favorite pastimes are playing Pronto pranks, playing video games, and during The Knight and the Thief, he became obsessed with crossword puzzles.
He's quite calm, and you rarely see him rage like a caveman troll. This mountain of muscle has a heart as big as his gigantic biceps, but watch out! Kord has a seriously powerful arm!

His friend Grendel (another Cave Troll who appears to be older than him) always gives him the new Macabre Beast accessories first, before the rest, to help them protect Slugterra.

Its Launcher is an Enforce Cyclone HTQ (it looks like a shark).

Kord Zane is a Cave Troll with great combat stamina. He is a member of Shane's Gang.
