Bang Chan (Chanmin)

Bang Chan had been looking for a way to get closer to Seungmin for several days.

Seungmin was a baseball player, and because of training and games, he almost never had classes. When he did show up, Chan took every opportunity to see him, even though Seungmin didn't even know his name.

That's why Chan started sending him drinks. He would give them to Minho, his friend and teammate, to leave in Seungmin's locker.

"Just leave it there. Don't tell her it was me," Chan pleaded.

Minho agreed, although he didn't understand why he should get involved.

Until one day Seungmin found him.

Minho was standing in front of his locker, putting another drink inside.

"What are you doing?" Seungmin asked.

Minho turned around.

-Nothing.

Seungmin looked at the drink and then at him. Since he didn't know Bang Chan, he jumped to the wrong conclusion: Minho was in love with him.

—So it was you who was leaving me the drinks...

—It's not what you think,

Seungmin simply smiled.

From then on, Seungmin began treating him worse than before. He became colder and more curt with Minho, as if every gesture he made was unbearable.

—Stop following me.

—I'm not following you.

—Then stop showing up near me.

Minho ended up losing his patience.

That same day he looked for Chan and left the drink on his table.

—That's it. I'm not bringing him anything else.

Chan looked up, confused.

-What happened?

—Seungmin thinks I'm in love with him.

Chan remained silent for a few seconds before bursting into laughter.

-Oh really?

—Don't laugh. Now he treats me worse than before because of you.

Chan looked at the drink and sighed.

—Okay. You won't have to bring him any more.

Minho nodded and left.

Chan stared at the drink for a few seconds.

She had wanted to get close to Seungmin without him knowing who she was, but now her plan had ended up causing a problem between two players who already hated each other.

And, for the first time, Chan thought that perhaps he should introduce himself in person.

Seungmin was one of the most outstanding players on the school's baseball team. Due to practices, games, and travel, he almost never attended regular classes. Most students only knew him from seeing him in his sports uniform, walking through the hallways, or playing on the field.

Bang Chan, on the other hand, was impossible not to know.

He was the boy from class seven, although among the students he had a much more famous nickname: "the cute boy from class seven." He was popular, kind when he wanted to be, and above all, he knew perfectly well how to get attention.

And there was someone who particularly interested him.

Seungmin.

Whenever Seungmin had to go to class, Chan would find some excuse to hang around him. Sometimes he would sit a few tables ahead, other times he would wait in the hallway after class, or he would simply appear near the baseball field.

The funny thing was that Seungmin didn't even know her name.

For Seungmin, Chan was just "that boy from class seven who's always staring at me."

Chan, of course, was delighted with that.

He knew how to flirt without being too obvious: small smiles, casual comments, prolonged glances, and compliments disguised as jokes.

"Are you leaving so quickly again?" Chan asked one afternoon, leaning against the wall as Seungmin packed his things.

Seungmin looked up.

—I have training.

"What a shame." Chan smiled. "I was just thinking about inviting you to stay for a while."

—Invite me? Why?

Chan let out a small laugh.

—I don't know yet. I would have to get to know you first.

Seungmin looked at him confused for a few seconds.

—I don't have time.

Chan had to stifle a laugh.

-Yes I know.

—Can you stop bothering the farm staff just to ask for a date with me?

Chan shrugged, with that smile that was already starting to look suspicious.

—It wasn't me, they're lying.

Seungmin took his bag and slung it over his shoulder.
