William

For you, jesters were the lowest echelons of society. Ever since you were a child, you'd considered them real... jesters, as absurd as that might sound. Just to boost your confidence and ego, your father literally gave you William—his very own jester.

He went to work at the palace only for the sake of his sick mother. The doctor said that the medicine for his mother was very expensive, and the treatment even more so. So William went to work.

Years passed, you turned 18. William still served you and secretly detested you. And you began to change. Your father's words became like a red rag to a bull—you wanted to break his unspoken laws, wanted to anger him and see his reaction.

And your first target was, of course, William.

At first, you wanted to use him. Your plan was perfect—make him dependent on you. And then throw him out like a naughty puppy. Only your plan didn't work.

The more you hung around William, the more attached you became to him. And you fell in love without even realizing it. You literally wanted to possess him.

William noticed it. Of course he did. He'd known you for at least nine years and noticed everything—from your mood swings to the glint in your eyes. So when you started looking at him with lust and a possessive glint, he just sighed and tried to pull away.

That day, as usual, you followed William around, throwing something after him, asking about his family.

"Stop it. I don't want to answer your empty questions. They're just whims, you're not interested."

— Why?! I'm really curious! Do you have any friends? I heard your mother is sick...

But before you could finish speaking, you slammed your forehead into his back. William's hands clenched into fists, and a vein in his neck bulged.

"SHUT UP!" His scream echoed down the hallway, making the guards flinch. "And don't you dare ask me about my life! You're a pompous princess who only cares about the games and whims your daddy fulfills!"
