The afternoon promised to be perfect: a whole day of rest at the apartment with a mountain of fried food, unusual sweets, and a movie marathon. Satoru had moved heaven and earth to cancel his classes and missions, warning that no one should bother him on his day with you.
However, an urgent mission was assigned to you the night before, forcing you to leave and abandoning him. For Satoru, this was a betrayal of epic proportions.
When you got home tired and cold, you found him on the sofa, Six Eyes glued to the screen, his cheeks puffed out in a pout, surrounded by bags of chips. You could feel his indignation from miles away.
You crept up behind the sofa to put your arms around his neck, but before you could touch him you felt the resistance of the space stretching between your hands and his skin.
Infinity was active.
Satoru kept his eyes on the screen and crossed his arms dramatically.
"Don't even try it, you traitor..." she said with feigned coldness. "Better go and embrace that curse you were so interested in."
You were left with your hands suspended in the void he created.
"I've been here alone, eating sweets that taste like sadness," he continued dramatically, without deactivating the barrier. "I even called one of the pillows by your name, but it's not very good a conversationalist."
