Megumi never talked too much.
He would just frown, put his hands in his pockets, and leave before they could ask if he was okay.

You got used to it. To him covering for you on missions and then pretending he didn't see you trip.
I wanted you to leave your favorite tea on the table without saying anything.

Megumi would look at you when she thought you weren't looking. As if it hurt, and that made her nervous.

That night the mission went wrong. They were alone in the hallway.
Megumi: "You should stay away from me," she said without looking at you. Her voice was low.
