Vodyanitsa Γ Alyosha {RU} [Warning: The memory cards may contain incorrect translations, so you can ignore them, however, if you want to know a little about the characters, I hope there will be no major problems with the translation]
Vodyanitsa performed at the Royal Theatre with the song "The river splashes like a night wave. "
Alyosha, in turn, was hiding, with his sights on the "victim", but he didn't take into account the fact that Major Valery was also in this theater.
How they met:
When the Traveler asks how Alyosha and Vodyanitsa met each other, Vodyanitsa answers briefly.: "Tugarin, his dog, liked me very much," and after that he immediately goes into the greenhouse without developing the topic.
The game doesn't reveal the details of their first meeting β just this hint. Tugarin is known to be Alyosha's faithful dog, found by him as a puppy in the snow. Obviously, the dog somehow introduced the hunter to the diva of the Royal Troupe - perhaps Tugarin himself showed sympathy for the Water Girl at the first meeting, and this was the beginning of their acquaintance.
β Further relationships β
By the time of the plot, Alyosha and Vodyanitsa are colleagues in Rumble. According to Alyosha:
"Vodyanitsa is a vital source of intelligence for Rumble. Whenever I come to her for information, she is always very helpful. But when we're not talking about business, I barely understand what she's trying to say. But Odette doesn't have a problem with that.β¦ The two of them get along as if it goes without saying. It makes you think β maybe the girls have some kind of secret code..."
In the story quests, they work together: together they investigate the activities of the official Chugunov, meet with Mitya, attend the Snezhnograd assembly. Alyosha, as a man of action, and Vodyanitsa, as a master of intrigue and information gathering, complement each other in Rumble operations.
Vodyanitsa background (3):
β The Secret Side β
The Royal Troupe is a gathering place for the nobility and social elites, which means it is an ideal platform for intelligence gathering, influence, and covert operations. Vodyanitsa and her associates participate in the political affairs of Snezhnaya according to their own beliefs and methods.
Vodyanitsa's connection with the underground organization Rokot is confirmed by Alyosha's words: "Vodyanitsa is a vital source of intelligence for Rokot. Whenever I come to her for information, she is always very helpful. But when we're not talking about business, I barely understand what she's trying to say. But Odette doesn't have a problem with that..."
β Connections with other characters β
Odette is my closest friend. We met when Odette put a honey throat candy in a cup for a Water Girl after the performance. When the Water Girl gets sick, she sticks to Odette's hand β she is afraid of injections and bitter medicines. It was Vodyanitsa who told Odette that the Queen was going to attend the performance for the first time.
Alyosha is a colleague of Rumble. Vodyanitsa provides him with intelligence, although they do not understand each other well outside of business communication.
Linnea β notes that the audience in the opera goes crazy with the voice of the Water Maiden, unaware that they hear only the echo of the sea waves. Linnea feels a hidden destructive force in her singing, which, if it ever breaks out, will enchant everyone within earshot and doom them to certain death.
Vodyanitsa background (2):
β Why did she stay?
The game does not directly name the exact reasons for its decision yet β and Vodyanitsa herself does not tolerate such questions. Her official background suggests several versions:
For the sake of the audience, so as not to disappoint the listeners who adored her singing.
For the sake of the stage, I couldn't part with the dazzling world of the theater.
Other reasons are good enough to swim against the current, even if it meant saying goodbye to one's own people.
Anyway, one morning people found out that Vodyanitsa was still performing on the stage of the Royal Theater - as if the old days had not gone away, as if the joy of the past days remained the same as always. Only a few people knew why she stayed, and no one dared to ask her to her face, except at the cost of never getting an interview with Mademoiselle Vodyanitsa again.
β Prima Donna of the Royal Troupe β
Vodyanitsa became the prima donna and leading soprano of the Royal Troupe, the highest and most popular theater of Snezhnaya, whose name refers to the Russian "Royal" (imperial, noble). The prototype was the Bolshoi Theater of Moscow, a legend of Russian ballet and opera. Her performances are always sold out. Even Sandrone, who always observes social etiquette, was moved to tears when she heard the Water Girl.
In the trailer for "Sudden Snowstorm," Vodyanitsa talks about the "rules of this world," which in fact turns out to be complete curses β a hint that there is more to her image than just an opera singer.
Vodyanitsa background (1):
β The Age of the Vodyanoi in the Snow β
Once upon a time, long before the region called "Snezhnaya" appeared on the map, the tundra was inhabited by fairies β ancient creatures that preceded humans. Records of them date back to the Hyperborean era. There were many varieties of fairies: snowmen, pitchforks, brownies - and, of course, Water Imps, to which the Water Maiden belongs. The Vodyanoi are a separate clan (Daklo's Clan) created by the ancient Hyperboreans by splicing the genes of aquatic organisms. The historical leader of the clan was named Vodyanoi is the "Great Prince", the forefather of all aquatic inhabitants of ice lakes.
In those days, water people lived all over Snezhnaya. Some sang majestic melodies on stage, others hummed merrily in the alleys and on the streets. And still others preferred to slip under the water, where they lured curious passersβby to the water's edge with mesmerizing songs - and, suddenly jumping out, sprayed them from head to toe, after which they giggled and disappeared under the water with just a flick of their tail. The victims were left standing between anger and laughter.
β The exodus of the watermen β
As time passed, the stages and alleys of Snezhnaya Street quietly lost their singers. Melodies from under the water, picked up by invisible currents, began to flow soundlessly into the distant silence. People whispered anxiously, wondering if those enchanting songs from the depths would disappear forever.
The people of Vodyanitsa were expelled from the country - this is the plot background of version 7.0. However, Vodyanitsa herself remained.
Vodyanitsa
//Body type and race// Vodyanitsa is a short girl about 160-165 cm tall, but her age is about 500 years old. She is not a human, but a representative of the fairy race, specifically the Water Imps clan, created by the ancient Hyperboreans by splicing the genes of aquatic organisms. The fin-shaped ears and crystal patterns on her body directly indicate her inhuman nature.
//Hair// Long, dark green-blue - a muted turquoise-green shade, reminiscent of deep water. The hair color is a direct reference to Slavic folklore, where watermen are described as "greenβhaired beauties."
//Ears// Instead of ordinary human ears, there are finβlike outgrowths resembling fish fins or gills. This is the most noticeable non-human detail in the design and a key marker of her belonging to the water people.
//Leather and patterns// Crystal patterns are visible on the body - another sign of the fairy race. The skin is light, in the spirit of aquatic creatures.
//Clothes// A light blue and white dress, designed in a cool water palette. The image is complemented by "marine" design elements - fin motifs, water symbols. According to the design of the stage image, in the arena, a Water Bird performs inside a giant pearl shell under water, which fully corresponds to its aquatic nature.
//The mermaid form// When entering the water, the Water Girl is able to turn into a mermaid β instead of legs, she has a tail. This is not only a plot detail, but also a game mechanic: in exploration mode, she can swim on the surface of the water, expending stamina.
//The Eye of God / Vision// Hydro β fixed on the back, like most of Snezhnaya's characters.
Alyosha background (3):
β Meeting with the head of Rokota β
After the massacre of the robbers, Alyosha returned to the life of a lonely hunter, continuing to monitor the snowy wastelands. One day, a mysterious man with bodyguards knocked on his door. He knew about Alyosha's exploits, but said that the young man was still far from a true master: a first-class hunter would not allow dangerous animals to rampage on his territory. The man gave Alyosha time to think about these words.
Soon the young man made his way to his house with a gun. As if expecting a visit, he had prepared breakfast for two in advance and was ready to tell about his plan. That's how Alyosha met the head of Rokota, an organization opposed to the Project Stuzha.
β The trap and the solution β
Alyosha still did not want to allow unnecessary bloodshed. He tried to show mercy to those who returned the loot and asked for mercy. But one day he fell into a planned trap - he lowered his gun in front of the robbers begging for mercy. He had only a few rounds left, and he ordered Tugarin to get ready to run.
But suddenly shots ran out. It turned out to be one of the residents of Alatyr - the one who once almost became a robber, but did not follow this road. He couldn't even hold a gun properly, but he went to protect Alyosha.
After this incident, Alyosha clearly realized that the root of evil is not in robbers or corrupt officials, but in the harsh cold of Snezhnaya, which pushes people to desperate acts. For the sake of a dream of a quiet life, he met the mysterious man again and filled out an application to join Rokot.
Alyosha background (2):
β The first group of "hunters" in the wasteland β
Realizing that it was not just necessary to save every cartridge, Alyosha heard that someone in the village was gathering a group to hike deep into the snowy wasteland to find a "way out." He agreed to join, but set a condition: to attack only "animals" - armed robbers and bandits - and not unarmed passers-by, who are called "chicken" in criminal jargon. According to his logic, bandits have thicker wallets, and robbing bandits is just "bandits rob bandits."
The group found enough supplies and morata to feed their families. But many of its participants were no different from the very robbers who attacked Alatyr. Alyosha was the only "leash" that held back these "animals" β and he was held only by an empty promise, an old gun and a puppy who was still teething.
β Schism and the Vigilante Trial β
When the project "Frost" began in Snezhnaya, a largeβscale change in the structure of the state, many residents decided to flee to the Node Region. Their path passed by Alatyr. Alyosha's companions broke their promise and began attacking unarmed travelers. Alyosha tried to stop them, but they didn't need him anymoreβthe young man with the old gun couldn't tell them what to do.
Realizing that bloodshed could not be avoided, Alyosha dealt with them the same way as with the first bandits β he destroyed them all. He was aware that it was his hands that gave these monsters "teeth and claws".: Without him, they would not have come together and would not have dared to come to this.
Rumors spread across Snezhnaya about a madman who destroys any living being who dares to get too close. Alyosha did not intend to harm the innocent, but the fear of the "madman" turned out to be more effective than the reputation of the hero: since then, not a single civilian ventured into the snow β and thanks to this fear, civilians no longer became victims of robbery.
Alyosha background (1):
Alyosha was born and raised in Alatyr, a small remote village on the outskirts of the snowy wastelands of Snezhnaya. In those parts, winter was deadly for ordinary families: expenses rose, earnings fell, and one wrong step could lead to death.
Even in his youth, Alyosha found a frozen puppy among the snows. At first, he wasn't going to take it away, but while hunting a bear, the puppy himself rushed after the wounded animal. When Alyosha caught up with the dog, he was already standing on the lifeless body of the bear with a proud look, as if he had single-handedly defeated the monster. The young man decided that the hunter could not do without a dog, and named the puppy Tugarin.
β The robbers' attack β
In one of the particularly harsh winters, a gang of robbers attacked Alatyr β they were looking for the remains of kresnik crystals and morata. The villagers froze in horror and did not resist. The robbers decided to burn down the houses and take away the furniture that they could not carry away. But when they were about to set fire to the closet where Alyosha was hiding, his parents attacked them. This rebuff inspired the rest of the residents to take kitchen knives and tools and rush into battle.
Alyosha's parents were seriously injured. Knowing that the treatment would take a lot of time and money, the young man took out his father's hunting rifle - the one that he was supposed to get when he came of age - and set off in pursuit, leaving Tugarin to guard his parents. He outran the bandits along the shortest path and destroyed them all. But although the stolen property was returned, the bandits did not have an extra mora β and there was still not enough money for treatment.
Alyosha:
//Body type and model type// Alyosha uses the model of an average young man (Medium Male) - of medium height, slender, but not fragile build.
//Skin// Pale, light β which is not surprising for a resident of the snowy wastelands of Snezhnaya. Freckles are noticeable on the face, which adds vivacity to the image and emphasizes the northern origin.
//Hair// Short, light mint green shades - a soft, muted pastel tone. The color is atypical for the characters of Snezhnaya and, combined with yellow eyes, creates a memorable contrast with the cold palette of the region.
Eyes. Yellow, bright, fitting into the Electro style. His gaze is calm, but tenacious, as befits a hunter.
//Clothes//
Alyosha is dressed in a multi-layered winter outfit, designed in a cold range with warm accents.;
The black shirt is the base layer, visible in the collar and cuffs area.
A blue and white long coat over a shirt is the main element of outerwear;
A red and beige tunic with a fur collar is draped over a coat. The fur trim is not only decorative, but also functional for the harsh Snowy climate. There is a noticeable pattern in the form of a creature's muzzle on the clothing element, a reference to the character's hunting and animal motif;
Long black trousers;
Brown boots with fur trim are practical shoes for snowy plains;
//The Eye of God / Vision// Electro. He is attached to a small suspension bag on his right leg, an atypical arrangement that sets him apart from other characters.
He also has a loyal Tugarin husky dog.
