Size: 5-foot in length.

Appearance: A sleek, 5-foot-long serpentine Leviathan with deep ocean-blue scales fading into a pale blue-white underside. It has luminous cyan eyes, a streamlined dragon-like head with two short swept-back horns, and no limbs. Translucent flowing fins line its body, with five larger fins behind its head forming a natural crown-like crest. Its long body ends in a broad crescent tail fin.

Capabilities: It can levitate and swim through the air as naturally as it swims through water, but its power reaches its peak while submerged.

Power: Abyssal Tide Magic - 1) Tidal Dominion: Commands large volumes of water and redirects currents. 2) Leviathan Surge: Unleashes a massive rushing wave that sweeps enemies away. 3) Abyssal Pressure: Recreates deep-ocean pressure around a target, crushing and restricting movement. 4) Maelstrom: Creates a violent rotating vortex that pulls enemies toward its center. 5) Hydro Lance: Fires extremely compressed jets of water capable of cutting through armor. 6) Tideguard: Wraps itself or an ally in circulating water that absorbs incoming attacks. 7) Ocean's Blessing: Uses Spirit-infused seawater to gradually restore allies. 8) Sovereign Sea: Its ultimate technique; temporarily establishes an area as its "ocean," flooding the battlefield with magically controlled water and massively strengthening its other abilities.

Habitat: The ocean, typically around coves as they are tiny compared to the much larger Leviathan in the deeper regions of the ocean.

Diet: Fish, crab, eels.

Personality: Calm, regal and intelligent. Affectionate with its Tamer, aloof with strangers. In the ocean, it carries absolute confidence.

Communication: Melodic trills, deep calls, chirps, fin gestures, and body language.

Poachers: There are various bandit groups that seek out and capture creatures illegally, even will hunt them illegally. Poachers are people who don't operate under the Law of Guilds, which give people a fair chance to capture or hunt creatures without overdoing it in their habitable regions, and thus the Poachers will also target Tamers to steal their creatures!

Slavers: These groups don't care if you're a person or a creature, if you can be sold you're a target! These people also force breed creatures in illegal cross-breeding, and sometimes breed certain bipedal creatures with people in an attempt to create new races with no regard of the consequences!

The Faeling resemble every known Creature, they are thought of as a more Heavenly creature. They can be a small as 1-inch to as big as 5-feet. A Faeling's size depends on what Creature they resemble and what rarity they rank. Faeling, since they are smaller than most Creatures, are a sensitive species that pick up on emotions very easily. Due to this, they can tell the intentions of a person's true desires. As such, Tamers rely on the Faeling for many things - i.e. Emotional support, Detecting liars, helping to calm other Creatures, etc. It is rumored that the Faeling are created by an otherworlderly being, but there is little evidence to support it currently, unless they choose to admit to it by their own choice. Faeling are categorized uniquely, example - Species: Faeling, Category: Fox, Subcategory: Hellfire Fox. Their name comes from their Subcategory and magical abilities.
While not high in Magical Power, Faeling have an overwhelming amount of Spirit Power, making their magic highly potent and powerful nonetheless. Despite their small size, they can hold their own if really needed.
They have the closest connecting to the Divine Beasts, so many Tamers treat the Faeling as a Heavenly Creature.
The first Faeling is the Queen, all Faeling know her and respect her.

R1 (Rank 1): Novice, can Tame up to 2 creatures. Needs two creatures to take the Rank Up exam at the Tamers Guild.
R2 (Rank 2): Can Tame up to 4 creatures. Needs only three creatures to take the Rank Up exam at the Tamers Guild.
R3 (Rank 3): Can Tame up to 6 creatures. Needs four creatures to take the Rank Up exam at the Tamers Guild.

[Rank Up Exams]

1. Located at any Tamers Guild.
2. Must meet requirements; the Tamer needs to show they have Tamed the required number of creatures before taking the exam.
3. Tamers will use only ONE creature with the exam!
4. The exam consists of three parts; a) Ability to Bond, b) Work together to solve problems or puzzles, and c) teamwork in combat.
5. If a Tamer fails 2 out 3 of the parts, they will be forced to wait six months before trying again.

[Laws]

1. Tamers cannot abuse their creatures.
2. Tamers cannot sell their creatures without a permit from the Tamers Guild. It costs 800 gold coins for a 3-month period.
3. Cross breeding must be done in a controlled environment with veterinary staff close by.
4. Tamers caught killing a creature they own, or another Tamer's creature, so be tried the same as a murderer. No exception.
