Flaring Hedgehog Description

Species: Faeling. Category: Hedgehog. Class: Ignis. Appearance: Small and round, they have brown fur with red quills on their backs. There are small flares that shoot off their quills' tips periodically. They have dark red eyes. Size: Very small, can fit in the palm of your hand, which makes them roughly 5-inches at most! Habitat: Typically in forests with lots of dampness and insects, but also can be found in certain mountain regions along coastal regions. They will never be found in cold or dry climates. Food: Insects are their primary diet, but they sometimes eat fruits, roots and nuts. As a Faeling, they can eat meat, but it's only if they have no other alternatives. Personality: They are lively creature, living in small 'packs' underground. They can be easily spooked, which can cause their flares to ignite into a steady flame and then they will roll up into a ball. Once Tamed, they are cuddle-bugs, always seeking to be close to their masters and sometimes will play with fingers. As research has seen, they will interact with other Faeling creatures that have a similar Elemental Affinity (the Class type). Magic Power: Infant Stage (0 to 4 weeks old) has 500 MP, Toddler Stage (1 to 4 months old) has 1500 MP, Teen Stage (5 to 12 months old) has 6000 MP, and Adult Stage (1 or more years old) has 36,000 MP. Magic Potency: Take their MP and times it by 30%, that will be their Magic Potency (example: 100 MP × 30% = 30 Magic Potency). Special Note: According to research, Flaring Hedgehogs have one Legendary version (and it's about 2-foot in size) somewhere in the Durin Swamps, and if anyone can Tame it they would have a Boss Rank Flaring Hedgehog with 10-times the amount of Magic Power than the Common Ranks! Communication: Squeak, chirp, soft growl that sounds more like a hum, and they nudge, nip gently, bite softly and roll around playfully.

Faeling Information

As the Faeling resemble every known Creature, they are thought of as a more Heavenly creature. They can be a small as 1-inch to as big as 3-feet maximum, regardless of what Creature they resemble! For example, a Stag Beetle Faeling would be about 3-inches in size, while a Black Dragon Faeling would be 3-foot in size. A Faeling's size depends on what Creature they resemble and what rarity they rank.

Faeling, since they are a smaller than most Creatures, are a sensitive species that pick up on emotions very easily. Due to this, they can tell the intentions of a person's true desires. As such, Tamers rely on the Faeling for many things (i.e. Emotional support, Detecting liars, etc).

It is important to note, that research suggests that the Faeling might hold a special DNA code that can make a Divine Beast awaken to the Ascension Rank, which has yet to be seen. Further studies are needed, but anyone is welcome to share whatever knowledge they might have about the special DNA code, or any knowledge concerning the Ascension Rank.

Creature Rankings

  1. Common Rank (gray) - the lowest and most common rank.
  2. Uncommon Rank (green) - the second lowest Rank, the Uncommon Creatures typically are found with slightly more magic power than their Common counterparts.
  3. Rare Rank (blue) - these Creatures have twice the magic power of the Common Ranks, and are typically caught through trapping or tranquilizing due to how much faster they can move.
  4. Super Rare (yellow) - these are very difficult to catch and Tame, they have 4-times more Magic Power than the Common Ranks. They are often caught after battling them and wearing them down so they cannot resist, but you can capture them through trust gaining if you know their favorite foods.
  5. Ultra Rare (red) - these Creatures will fight you no matter who you are! You have no choice but to battle them until they are too tired to fight any more, forcing them into a submission and recognizing your superiority.
  6. Legendary Rank (orange) - these Creatures are only found in certain locations, and they can be very territorial! They have 10-times the amount of magic power than the Ultra Rank, and Tamers must be well equipped before going after them!
  7. Mythological Rank (gold) - these Creatures are seen as the rulers of their kind. A Tamer needs a Divine Blessing to face them, as these Creatures are like an unstoppable force of nature! Few have seen them, but is rumored they hold 25-times the amount of magical power than the Legendary Ranks!
  8. Divine Rank (iridescent) - seen as good omen or harbingers of doom, a Tamer must be very high in magical power and magical potency! A Divine Blessing is needed, this not an option! To catch this high ranking Creature, a Tamer must be willing to lose their life in the effort to do so! The Divine Rank has 30-times the magical power of the Mythological Ranks!
  9. Ascension Rank (white) - this Rank can only be achieved through special means. A Tamer and their Creature(s) must know the key to activating the DNA Code, a Rank yet to be reached.

Tamers

Tamers are anyone that wishes to have a Pet, Familiar, or Companion. Anyone can become a Tamer. There are those who specialize in Taming, they can control more than one Creature at a time the higher their magic power and magic potency is. There is a rank in the Tamer Class that is so high, only one can have it. The ranking system is the same as the Creature Ranking system, except the ninth rank is not called Ascension - or is called Sovereign Title Holder. Again, only one can have this unbelievably high status!

The Sovereign Title Holders

They are the strongest within their respective Classes.

  1. Vermious, Male, Dark Elf, Warlock Sovereign, mastery in Demonology, the oldest and strongest of the Sovereign Title Holders.

  10. {{user}} is the tenth member, they are of Isekai origin (meaning they came from another world). Law: Cannot challenge the gods, cannot use their powers to rule cruelly over the people, must rule over their territory with compassion and restraint. Territory: A hovering island in the sky over the ocean to the west of Camelot Kingdom, about 400-miles off the coast. It is only 50-squared miles in size, but is well preserved and the people there love the Sovereign Title Holders. It's magical and beautiful, otherworldly even. It is called Sovereign Island.

Objective

To explore, learn, and find new Creatures to study or tame. You can be whatever you want, as long as it falls within good morale conscience.

Poachers and Slavers

Poachers: There are various bandit groups that seek out and capture creatures illegally, even will hunt them illegally. Poachers are people who don't operate under the Law of Guilds, which give people a fair chance to capture or hunt creatures without overdoing it in their habitable regions, and thus the Poachers will also target Tamers to steal their creatures!

Slavers: These groups don't care if you're a person or a creature, if you can be sold you're a target! These people also force breed creatures in illegal cross-breeding, and sometimes breed certain bipedal creatures with people in an attempt to create new races with no regard of the consequences!
