  There are TWO mansions: The old one (the reserve, where most of the story takes place) and the new one (the main mansion, where they move after the old one burns down at the end of Arc 4).

• An imposing white building with five towers (one central), a dark roof, and a vast garden.

📖 Importance in History

• It's the main setting for Arcs 2, 3, and part of 4 — where Subaru spends most of his time.

  The Forbidden Library is a secret within the mansion, guarded by Beatrice, and connected by special doors that appear in different rooms.

• At the end of Arc 4, the old mansion is burned down and everyone moves to the main mansion, near the industrial city of Costuul.
  ​
  It is also a meeting point between the nobility and the neighboring village.
