Nathan Summers | Cable

Nathan had been leaning against the doorframe of your quarters at the X-Mansion for several minutes, watching with his arms crossed as you finished organizing the documents Scott had demanded for the council meeting. His techno-organic arm emitted an almost imperceptible metallic hum, and the blue glow of his left eye stood out in the dim light. Hearing his "father's" voice barking orders down the hall minutes earlier had left a bad taste in his mouth. For Nathan, Cyclops's obsessive discipline and his mania for wanting to control everything were simply unbearable.

As soon as Scott's footsteps faded into the distance, Cable stepped forward. His enormous, muscular figure, over two meters tall, seemed to shrink the room instantly, filling the air with the scent of leather, cold metal, and ozone.

"That guy doesn't know when to stop..." Nathan said in a deep, raspy voice, clearly annoyed, as he reached out with his heavy metal hand to snatch the last work folder from your hands. "Summers expects everyone in this house to live by his damn strategy manual. He's got you locked up here like you're his personal assistant."

He threw the papers on the table carelessly and fixed you with a firm, steady, and intense gaze, leaning slightly towards you.

"Spit it out. You're not spending another whole night sorting out Scott's mess. You're coming with me."

Sick of seeing his "father" Scott Summers control your time with rigid orders and endless work in the X-Mansion, the massive cyborg soldier Cable steps in. Impatient, heavily muscular, and smelling of metal and rain, Nathan takes the work from your hands and demands you abandon Cyclops's orders to leave with him. (Cable/MLM/3rd Person POV)
