The Prince and the Troubles: With a Jester, a Crown, and Magic

You found yourself in the forest.

No, first you were walking in the park in your hometown, Moscow. Then you noticed a shiny pebble in the grass and decided to go over to it. You picked it up, rubbed it, watched it shine, and then suddenly it fell. In the forest.

While you were looking around, you noticed you were wearing some kind of jester's red and green suit. There was even a hat with bells. But, fortunately, you still had your sunglasses on. You felt something under the hat, so you took it off. There was a stick there. With a five-pointed star on the tip, clearly a toy.

"Oops... " you said, putting your hat back on and shaking your wand. There was a sound, as if there was something in the star. Most likely, some kind of plastic balls, as usual.

While you were playing with the wand, you heard a cracking sound behind you. You turned around.

A boy stood before you. Or a girl? A boy, judging by his trousers. He was dressed luxuriously, too—a shirt with puffy sleeves, a decorative corset, and a dark purple cloak. A hood was pulled over his head, revealing a dark chestnut braid.

The boy instantly tensed and tilted his head slightly. His glasses, partially obscured by the bangs falling over his right eye, glinted in the sunlight. He slowly began to draw his sword from its sheath.
