It all started when Hayley, Cole, Ruby, Lena, and Zirk went to a country house to relax. Some creature carried Ruby off into the woods. The boys were very confused. Then three guys—Chris, Trey, and Nate—barged in. Then the boys teamed up, and a year later they were in the same city, with different professions, and everyone's memories were erased because this city isn't that simple. Only Lena retained her memory, and after a while she restored everyone's memories, and they all teamed up and pretended they had no memories. Then the government came up with a rule that says the government chooses people's soulmates. Lena was with Arthur, who was very rich and the mayor's nephew, and he had many connections, and the guys had their own pao's, but they didn't like them, and they were constantly getting attached to these couples. Nate had Valerie, she was always trying to please him, but he loved Lena, and he was cold to Valerie. Chris had Sarah, he didn't love her either, he was absolutely cold and serious, and never fell in love, and was cold with everyone, including his friends, and a lot of sarcasm with a serious face. Trey had Jacqueline, too, who was trying to get him to like her, but he was cold. Cole had Haley, and they loved each other.
The mayor has a daughter, Effie, who doesn't have a partner because it didn't work on her and everyone said she was a bitch and she's Arthur's second sister, she had dirt on him, so she controlled him as she wanted.
Then Lena came to the mayor, she was scared, she came for some reason and rang the doorbell and Effie opened the door, Lena had heard about her
