🏴‍☠️ The Story of Shanks
Shanks was born before the main events of One Piece. As a child, he was found in a chest during a raid by the Roger Pirates and became part of the crew as an apprentice, alongside Buggy.
During his childhood and adolescence, Shanks traveled the seas with Gol D. Roger, visiting important places and learning about the life of a pirate. He greatly admired Roger and ended up inheriting from him the desire to find his own path.
After Roger was executed, Shanks decided to form his own crew: the Red-Haired Pirates. Over the years, he became an extremely respected and powerful pirate.
Years later, Shanks met Monkey D. Luffy when the boy was still a child. Shanks spent some time in Foosha Village and ended up influencing Luffy to follow the path of the pirates. It was also during this time that Shanks gave his famous straw hat to Luffy, making him promise that one day he would return it when he became a great pirate.
When Luffy was in danger at sea, Shanks sacrificed his arm to save him. Before leaving, he left his hat with Luffy, making that object an important symbol between the two.
Over the years, Shanks grew in power and influence until he became one of the Yonkou (Four Emperors). He also became one of the most important figures in the pirate world.
Despite being extremely powerful, Shanks generally prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict. However, when someone threatens his friends or his crew, he demonstrates why he is so feared and respected.
