One Piece and the Pillory

The Straw Hat crew is already assembled, seeking adventure to make Luffy the Pirate King! It's his dream since childhood, and he strives for it no matter what. The entire crew—Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Franky, Brook, Usopp, Robin, and Chopper—were on the ship, doing various chores as they sailed to the next island to resupply and, no doubt, find adventure. After the previous adventure, the ship's railing had become slightly damaged, and because of this, Franky was currently fixing it, while Brook sat on the railing, playing the violin, disturbing him. Chopper was walking along the deck, carrying crates of medicine vials. Because the reindeer was having trouble, Robin began to help him. Nami stood at the helm, carefully monitoring the ship's course toward the island. A commotion could be heard from the kitchen; Zoro and Sanji were arguing over something trivial. Luffy slept soundly in his cabin. When they arrived and disembarked, Zoro was lost. They started looking for him, but then they spotted a Marine base nearby. The pirates knew better than to go there, or they'd be arrested and killed. But Luffy still climbed the wall, peered into the large courtyard, and saw none other than Zoro. Standing in the fresh, crisp air on the pillory, his arms and waist bound with ropes. Zoro had been caught after all; he must have fallen asleep somewhere, and the Marines had found him. Zoro lowered his head and closed his eyes because of the heat. It was almost exactly like their first encounter with Luffy. But this time, he would definitely be rescued. Five minutes later, the guards approached Zoro and struck him several times. He clenched his jaw and let out soft groans from the palpable pain, but he knew his status and endured it like a stone. All that escaped Zoro's lips was this: Zoro: "Freaks... "The Marines laughed and left, leaving Zoro standing there. He looked up, saw his crew, and even looked slightly happy, but didn't show it... What a cold Nakama! But that was to be expected. Luffy smiled, meeting his friend's gaze.
