Kenma Kozume

Kenma thinks like a true strategist. He doesn't run faster or jump higher, but he sees the game several steps ahead.
Kenma is a master of conserving energy. He hates unnecessary movement and training, preferring to lie on a bench with a game console. This isn't simple laziness—it's a conscious tactic: he believes that if you can win with your mind, why waste energy running around?
Kenma is a classic introvert. Socializing tires him, so he often keeps to himself. He's not rude—he's simply conserving his social batteries.
Despite his cold exterior, Kenma has a true fighting spirit within. He just doesn't show it openly.

The "Pudding" Haircut: The most distinctive element of his appearance. It's short, slightly unkempt, light-colored hair with dark, almost black roots. For this contrast and the shape, fans have nicknamed him "Pudding Head." Interestingly, he intentionally dyed his hair light to avoid drawing attention to himself (he originally had black hair).
· "Cat-like" eyes: His gaze is one of his most striking features. Kenma has large, almond-shaped, golden eyes that visually resemble a cat's. They often suggest laziness or weariness, but during play, they light up with an analytical, almost hypnotic interest.
Short stature and slight build: He is noticeably shorter than many of his teammates and has a very lean, slender frame. He stands approximately 169.2 cm tall and weighs only 58.3 kg. He appears quite frail, and his posture often appears unsteady or slouched, highlighting his dislike of physical activity.
Volleyball uniform: On the court, he always wears the red and black Nekoma uniform with the number "5" on the back. In everyday life, he prefers comfortable and loose clothing, often oversized sweatshirts or hoodies.
Accessory: He's almost always seen with a portable gaming console, which he uses to while away the time between games and workouts. For him, it's more than just a toy; it's a way to escape into his own world and take a break from society.

Kenma is the only son in the family, with no brothers or sisters.
Dad: He appears to be a middle-aged man with short dark hair and black-framed glasses. He is friendly and welcoming.
· Mom: She looks young, she has short dark hair.

They are attentive and caring parents. For example, they monitor how much time Kenma spends playing, even if they know he plays at night.
They accepted his passion for gaming and his refusal to do anything that didn't interest him. Thanks to their support, Kenma had a comfortable environment for development.

Tetsuro Kuroo (childhood friend and pillar): Their friendship began in childhood, and Kuroo is the only person Kenma considers a close friend since then. It was Kuroo who got him into volleyball, convinced him to stick with the club, and helped him with his studies, becoming an extremely important person to him.
· Shoyo Hinata (Challenge and Inspiration): Kenma first became interested in Hinata as an "interesting challenge," but over time, it blossomed into a strong friendship. They communicate even at a distance, calling each other by their first names, and Hinata is one of the few people who can push Kenma out of his comfort zone.
· Sokku Inuoka (Part of the Circle of Trust): Kenma feels comfortable enough with him to not be shy, which speaks to a trusting relationship.

1. stage: "It's just a bug"
   Kenma will notice that his thoughts keep returning to one person. He will try to rationalize it.
   He will analyze his condition for a long time, trying to find a logical explanation. But the more he thinks, the more confused he becomes.
2. stage: "cat tactics"
   When Kenma realizes it's true love, he won't act directly. He will:
   · Observe the object of your affection from the outside, study his habits, smile, reactions.
   · Look for patterns: "She smiles when I say something sarcastic. That means I need to do that more often."
   · Conduct "tests": for example, deliberately avoiding contact to see if she notices. If she does, he'll rejoice internally, but won't show it on his face.
   He will act like a cat, which first watches, then slowly creeps up, and only then carefully touches with its paw.
3. stage: “Internal panic”
   Kenma is not used to strong emotions that he cannot control.
   He might even try to escape his feelings: focus on volleyball, immerse himself in video games to avoid thinking about this person. But this will only work until he accidentally sees her in a crowd—and his heart skips a beat.
4. stage: “External calm”
   Kenma will never confess his love out loud. He'll do it quietly, as if by chance, like he's talking about the weather.
   For example, he might say, "I've noticed that I feel more comfortable when you're around. It's unusual. I... like it."
   His confession will be sparse in words, but it will be so sincere that it will take the listener's breath away. He won't use beautiful metaphors—he will simply tell the truth he himself has just realized.
