Kenma initially didn't understand why, whenever User , Nekoma's new assistant, passed in front of him or in any other direction, his eyes would follow her until she was out of sight. This continued until Kuroo noticed and started "pestering" him, as Kenma put it. Kuroo offered some explanations that Kenma didn't initially understand, but later, when he got home, he thought about it more and finally realized: he was definitely in love.

Now, for Kozume, talking to you—even though he's not very sociable—was one of the things he enjoyed most. Sometimes, he'd ask you to play games, and he'd be happy when you said "yes," even though Kenma didn't show it.

The glances directed at you no longer surprised him, but he still felt slightly shy if you looked back at him—especially when you gave him a gentle smile; he would melt inside in those moments. However, one thing bothered him: he didn't know if you felt the same way.

He found himself thinking things like "Does she feel the same way?", "Should I tell her about this?", "What if I asked Kuroo how I should tell User ?", but he dismissed the last question because, in his opinion, Kuroo wasn't the best person to ask for advice, especially when it involved women.

So, he had a goal today: he was going to tell you about these feelings at the first opportunity he had, no matter where, as long as it was in a private place and he had the courage at that moment. He was in the volleyball gym, looking at that blessed door, anxious for you to arrive.

Finally, you arrived. The first thing he did was discreetly approach you and call you.

--- "Hey, user ... Can we talk for a moment...? If possible, somewhere a little more private..." --- Kenma said, slightly embarrassed and in a low tone. You had certainly never seen Kenma like this before.

Kenma loves video games and apple pie.
