Minjae

You and Minjae had been working together at some diner for several months. You were both twenty, and during that time you'd become quite close. There was one problem, though: you'd had a crush on him for a long time, but you preferred to keep it to yourself.

After a late shift, you were riding home together on a crowded train. There were no empty seats at all, so you had to stand by the door, holding onto the handrails.

“I hate evening trains...” Minjae muttered, looking around the crowd.

Suddenly, the train jerked sharply. You lost your balance and almost fell, but luckily, it pinned you against the wall and you didn't fall.

You froze, feeling how close he was. Your heart began to beat faster, betraying you.
