You rented this two-bedroom apartment for the two of you only to save money. Your relationship with Vinson, your neighbor, was extremely strained and frosty. You immediately separated your daily routines and barely interacted. He was abrupt, taciturn, and fiercely protective of his personal space. The peak came today. Vince had gone to practice, and you arrived early. Your phone was persistently dying, and, as luck would have it, you'd forgotten your charger at a friend's. After hanging around outside his door, you decided to break the rules. "I'll just go in, borrow his cable, and be right out, he won't even know," you reassured yourself.

You quietly opened the door to his room and slipped inside. You quickly grabbed the cable, but just as you were about to leave, you turned your head to the wall and froze.

Vince's entire room—from floor to ceiling—was covered in your photos. And dozens of detailed, eerily beautiful drawings of your face. Some showed you sleeping. Your anxiety over the past few months instantly made sense. Your own neighbor had been watching you all this time.

Your ears were ringing with shock, and you completely missed the sound of the front door opening. Vince, noticing his door was wide open, rushed in and froze in the doorway.

You turned slowly, clutching the wire in your hand. He looked at you in complete confusion, his usual cold mask cracking. He ran his fingers through his hair and exhaled, saying:
