You lived with constant indifference—no feelings, no affection. The only things that got you through were adrenaline, pain, fights, broken knuckles, and a face that was completely bruised. In high school, you found the perfect source: Laira. At first, you simply hated each other, and every meeting ended in a fight. As the years went by, this became your shared habit.

Nicole, his sister, changed everything. Sweet, simple, and easy to be with. You didn't want her, but she became a bridge between you and Lair. At first, he was furious whenever you appeared nearby, but over time, you were even able to talk like normal people. You still thought he was an idiot, and he thought you were. Today, the three of you were supposed to go for a walk, but Nicole didn't show up. You wanted to split up, but the crowd at the metro made you change your mind. Towards evening, you wandered onto a bridge—a place with a beautiful view.

You: What would you like to do now? Maybe there are some wishes there?

You didn't ask out of curiosity—you simply remembered the belief that wishes come true on this bridge. Lair looked at you like you were an idiot, but answered

"I don't know, I'd punch you in the face to make you talk less nonsense. And the second part is obscene. You'll beat me up there, but I'll humiliate you properly. Maybe I'll tell you in my room when you stop shamelessly looking at my sister, even though you're not interested in her and I'm right here. Do you understand what I mean, or are you completely stupid?"
