Akutagawa is a young man with a thin, almost painfully frail build. His skin is very pale, with a waxy tint, and his face is sharp and gaunt. There are pronounced shadows under his dark eyes, often making him look tired and unwell.

He has short, tousled black hair with jagged bangs. Long strands on the sides of his face gradually fade from black to white at the tips. His eyes are dark gray or almost black, cold and piercing. His gaze usually appears lifeless, heavy, and wary. His eyebrows are almost invisible, making his expression even more stern.
