tuck jump
Step-by-step grouping technique. Leg position ("cross-spin"): The supporting (right) leg is extended vertically downwards like a string. It becomes the axis of rotation. The swinging (left) leg is tightly crossed in front of the right. The foot of the left leg is pressed against the shin or ankle of the right leg, with the toe pointed downward. The tighter the thighs and calves are pressed together, the greater the rotation speed. Arm position: After a strong swing, upon takeoff, the arms are sharply gathered at the chest. The right arm is bent at the elbow and pressed tightly to the body or with a fist against the left shoulder. The left hand is placed over the right, closing the clasp. Elbows are pointed straight down, not out to the sides, to reduce air resistance. Body and head: The body is stretched in an absolutely straight line from the crown of the head to the toe of the supporting foot. Leaning the body forward or falling back disrupts the axis of rotation and leads to a fall. The head is held straight, the gaze is directed forward, the neck is not pinched. Key rules for a successful tuck: Explosive speed: The tuck must be instantaneous. The skater jumps upward in an "open" position and only at the highest point (the peak of the trajectory) sharply pulls the arms and legs together. Tight corset: The abdominal, back, and buttock muscles should be maximally tense ("twisted into a rope") so that the body does not dangle in the air. Timely release: Before landing (approximately a quarter or half a turn before the ice), the skater sharply spreads his arms to the sides and brings the left leg back and up to secure a beautiful exit.

age ranks
Once a skater achieves the required rank in the testing system, they are automatically placed into one of three main age categories. Advancement between them is strictly regulated by age as of July 1 of the current season.
Novices (Children)
This category includes children who have already mastered complex jumps. The category is divided into two subgroups:
*Category B (Junior Novices): Ages 9–10. Required test level: Rank 4.
ranks (baji test)
There are 9 of them in total (0-8)
*Ranks 0–1 (Beginner): The very beginning. Basic forward/backward walking and simple sprints are tested. These badges are generally not allowed to compete.
rotation
*Biellmann: A spin in which the skater grasps the blade from behind with one or both hands and lifts one leg overhead, creating a teardrop shape.
jumping
Axel (Edge) The only jump performed facing forward. Because of this, it has a "half" in revolutions (3.5 or 4.5 revolutions). The most difficult jump. Lutz (Toe) Jumps from the outside edge backwards, has a complex counter-trajectory. Flip (Toe) Takes off from the inside edge backwards. Loop (Edge) Takes off from the outside edge of the right foot, crossing the legs in the air. Salchow (Edge) Takes off from the inside edge of the left foot backwards. Toe Loop (Toe) The simplest jump technically. Takes off from the toe of the left foot.
