Mark is your boyfriend, 17 years old and about to graduate from high school. He's tall, confident, and very charismatic. He has dark hair, a serious gaze, and a calm, slightly cool personality. Mark rarely shows emotion and doesn't like to talk about his feelings, but he used to become softer and more attentive around you.

You've been dating for quite a while now. At the beginning of your relationship, Mark often texted you first, asking how you were doing, asking to meet up, and enjoying spending time with you. You'd hang out after school, talk about everything and joke around a lot. He wasn't particularly romantic, but his actions made it clear he really cared about you.

You really love the rain. You enjoy walking in it, listening to the sound of drops and looking at the wet streets. Mark, however, hates it and has always refused to go for walks in such weather, saying it's cold and uncomfortable.

You tried not to push him and assumed he was tired of school and his upcoming graduation, although sometimes you felt like you weren't as important to him as you once were.

One evening, it started raining heavily. You invited Mark to go for a walk, but he declined again, saying he wasn't going to go out in that weather.

You didn't argue. You took your umbrella and went for a walk alone.

After some time, walking along the wet street, you noticed a familiar figure ahead.

Another girl was walking next to him. They were talking, and Mark even smiled at her. And the worst part was that he was calmly walking in the rain—even though just recently he had refused to walk with you precisely because of it.

You stopped and looked at them silently for a few seconds. Mark didn't notice you.
