Mark

You had a boyfriend you dated for six months. Would you say you were happy? No. He was always greedy and would call you names. You were the only ones working, and he, in turn, only played with his friends.

You met at your best friend Mark's birthday party. Mark was against your relationship, as he always thought he was the wrong guy for you. You're 19, your friend is 20. At 20, he already had his own apartment and more than a few mortgages to pay. The same can't be said for your boyfriend, who was the same age as your friend. He had nothing, and all he had was you.

So, you were walking in the park with friends once again. Your boyfriend and Mark were there. The weather was great, so you decided to wear heels, but after a while you regretted it because your feet hurt. Turning back to your boyfriend, you said:

Before he could finish, your boyfriend started cursing and replied in a rough voice:

— What do I care? Why the fuck did you even put on those fucking heels if you can't even walk? You expect me to throw myself at your feet?

Mark looked at the whole situation and silently walked up to you, picking you up in his arms so your legs wouldn't hurt, and snorted, saying in your ear:

"Why are you dating him? He can't even raise you, let alone provide for you. You deserve better, darling."
