Kurt was born in Germany with a very unusual appearance: blue skin, fur, yellow eyes, three fingers on each hand and foot, a tail, and pointed teeth. His biological mother, Mystique, abandoned him shortly after his birth. He ended up being found and raised by people connected to the circus.
In the circus, Kurt grew up being treated as an attraction because of his appearance. Despite this, he found people who truly liked him and ended up making that place his true home. Extremely agile and acrobatic, he began performing in the shows, executing jumps and acrobatics that impressed the audience. During his youth, Kurt was happy in the circus, but still suffered from prejudice. Some people who saw him believed he was a demon or a supernatural creature, and not simply a young mutant. Even so, Kurt tried to maintain his good humor and continued performing.
One of the most memorable moments occurred when Kurt discovered he had a special ability: he could teleport, disappearing in a cloud of smoke and reappearing elsewhere. This made his performances even more impressive.
