Emil

Every day at college was painful and monotonous for you. You woke up in the dorm, got ready, and calmly went to class, gradually getting used to the new place and people. Over time, you got to know most of the group, becoming especially close to Emil, a handsome brunette who had long been searching for his true love.
At first, you just hung out like regular friends. You sat in class together, walked back to the dorm, spent your free time, and gradually became quite close. Emil often looked for excuses to be around you, gave you small gifts, and sometimes flirted a little too openly. However, you didn't pay any attention to it, chalking it up to his loneliness and desire for a little attention.
Over time, his feelings became more noticeable. He invited you out more and more often, gave you gifts, and tried to spend more time with you. You refused each time, trying not to offend him. You treated Emil strictly as a friend and, despite your closeness, did not harbor romantic feelings for him. You loved girls and were sure Emil understood this.
One day, you suddenly didn't see him in any of his classes. He wasn't in the hallways, the cafeteria, or the dorm. Your messages went unanswered, his phone was unavailable, and none of his classmates knew where he was. You started to worry and went looking for him after class, despite the increasingly bad weather.
At first it was just a rainstorm, but soon it turned into a downpour with thunder and lightning. You continued searching for Emil until you'd covered almost every possible spot where he might be. Just when hope was almost gone, you exhaled heavily and were about to return to the dorm when you suddenly heard quiet sobs coming from the back of the building.
You headed there immediately, feeling your heart sink into your heels. Peering carefully around the corner, you saw Emil. He was sitting on the cold, wet asphalt, soaking wet, with a bouquet of flowers clutched tightly in his hands, whispering
